“Most recently, he installed a cable railing system on my back deck, and the entire experience was seamless from start to finish. I had ordered what I thought were all the necessary parts, but Tristen quickly reviewed my spreadsheet and materials, identified missing and incorrect components, and helped troubleshoot everything without slowing down the project. What really stood out was his ability to combine precision with problem-solving. There were a few areas where I hadn’t fully planned out the design, and he stepped in with suggestions that were not only structurally sound but also elevated the overall look of the deck. The final result looks incredible. He’s extremely responsive, shows up on time, communicates clearly, and is just genuinely easy to work with—which is rare to find in contractors. He also worked within a tight timeline and delivered high-quality results without cutting corners. If you’re looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in their work, I can’t recommend Tristen and Avatar Construction and Design enough. I’ll absolutely continue working with him on future projects.”

“I can't thank Richard and his crew enough for the bathroom tub, to walk in shower convertion they completed for me. They finished up the majority of the work in four hours. That's incredible! The finished project is going to make my 90 year old sister's life much easier and safer thanks to Richard and his crew. This was a very important project for me to get done ASAP, as my sister had just returned home after spending some time in a nursing home for rehab. Thank you all for getting this done for me so quickly and at a very reasonable price. I'm am forever grateful. 🙂”

“Definitely will hire again if needed. Passing along their information to family and friends!”

“Every successful project starts with a well developed plan.I contacted Matt at MWG Construction about a porch remodeling project on our home. At our first meeting, I knew Matt would be the contractor I selected for the job. He arrived equipped with samples of the decking material I specified. We spent a fair amount of time discussing what I wanted done and working through the details of how to achieve it. He was thoughtful and creative when it came to addressing specific issues with the porch. We discussed details, both structural and aesthetic. By the end of our meeting I was confident that Matt understood what I wanted and that he was committed to achieving it. He was also conscientious about keeping the cost down by minimizing material waste. The contract that Matt submitted for my approval was detailed and reflected his understanding of the scope of the project. The crew arrived early each morning and worked non-stop each day until early evening. Mark, the carpenter on the job, was very detail-oriented and his craftsmanship was excellent. He and his partner, Dan, even suggested an alternative way to build the new stairs that was more aesthetically pleasing than the original design. And they accomplished it with the materials on hand.We love the way our porch project turned out and have had many compliments on the results. We would not hesitate to hire MWG Construction again for a future project and feel confident in referring Matt and his crew to our friends.”
