Dan C. says, “My son purchased a new outdoor playground equipment set from a box store. It came with all the individual items packaged in six large boxes, complete with instructions. 😳 I submitted a request on Thumbtack for the assembly and installation of this set, along with pictures and model #. Literally within 20 minutes, I received a reply from VanOppen Construction. They had reviewed my request, looked up the Model # on-line and the assembly instructions. They expressed their interest in “helping me accomplish my request” including their price to do so and their availability to do so. I was impressed with their extremely quick response, their researching the project prior to responding and including their quote based on their research. Their price was reasonable and their availability was perfect; I agreed and they accepted. On the day the work was scheduled to begin, their workman, Tay , contacted me when on his way to the site. He arrived on time and ready to work. We looked over where I had pre-marked the location to build and place the finished equipment, reviewed the assembly instructions and items lists. Tay was very attentive, asked good questions and offered some suggestions. Once we both felt good about “the plan and expectations” he went right to work. I left the job site returning hours later to see how he was doing. He’d progressed further than I expected and was very positive about the job ahead. I left again and returned to settle up with him (pay) close to when he would complete the work. He had about an hour to go but the project looked wonderful, sitting right on the site as I had envisioned. Tay had done an excellent job. This was about a 9.5 hour day for him. He was always pleasant and positive, continuing to work while I was on site. I noted this effort and his positive attitude. As the day was ending he offered and I accepted VanOppen business cards to share with other prospective customers in need of their services (which are many beyond those I requested - google them). I highly recommend VanOppen Construction. Their people, professionalism, responsiveness, effort and quality.”
