“X Contractor. Also, the last communication I had with "Mr. X Contractor" - he talked terribly to me; "Mr. X Contractor" has not taken responsibility for the poor quality of work. For two months I have been upset/distraught/having heart palpitations as a result of the non-responsiveness of said previous "Mr. X Contractor" as well as the extreme stress and dismay from the prior work incorrectly done. Note that I did not become aware of Mr. X Contractor shoddy workmanship until it rained - just a few days after Mr. X Contractor "finished". Mr. X Contractor was paid in full $5500 (plus another $1,300) for additional contracted work to be done, but that he will never do. That (my) $1300 is gone. On 10/23/2026, it finally dawned on me to check "thumbtack" website for "help". I easily found Nick's profile, &, typed Nick a confusing message describing my situation. He responded within 15 minutes and made an appointment for the early afternoon on 10/24/2026 to come look at the situation at my home. I am totally thrilled, happy, and GREATFUL to Nick. After assessing the situation at my home, (I did not expect Nick to "remedy" it that same day). Nick did a thorough, methodical inspection of the problem areas & got to work right away. He is listed "as a handyman" & folks he is a gem! He is a Consummate, Professional Handyman! Honest, respectful, polite. Nick has his many tools in the cargo area of his vehicle. Folks, his tools in his vehicle are clean, & well organized and in their individual categories & in their cubbies. He methodically put the tools back as he was done with them. Any man (or woman) who works with "tools of their trade" & keeps said tools cleaned & organized, clean & put back after use is worth their weight in gold. A professional, who treats "their tools of their trade" with care - they will do the same with your project - hire them immediately. Tools are expensive & are a vital investment to that person in his/her trade. If an individual goes to that extra work to clean and replace tools back in their cubbies before the next phase of their work, they will do the same for your project. Just as soon as I get it ordered & received, Nick is hired to come and install a new screen door for me. You've gone to the rest???? Now go to the best - Nikita Gritsyk! FABULOUS!
