“I had a great experience working with Delmer on the rebuild of my back porch and deck. When we started the project, I didn’t realize the full extent of the damage. He took the time to explain everything clearly, showed me what needed to be repaired, and worked with me to find the best solution. From the beginning, Delmer was professional, communicative, and honest. He provided a detailed estimate, listened carefully to what I wanted, and warned me that additional problems might be uncovered once the work began - which turned out to be true. I changed my mind twice during the project, and he was patient and accommodating, making sure I was happy with the final result. He consistently worked on the project until it was finished, kept me informed about costs, and went the extra mile in ways that mattered to me. He paid attention to small details and made sure the work was done properly—even in areas underneath the deck that no one will ever see. I also appreciated how respectful he was of my property. I asked that my lawn not be damaged, and it wasn’t. He cleaned up debris and old materials every day, leaving everything neat and organized. Delmer is friendly, dependable, and takes pride in his work. I would recommend him without hesitation.”

“They even seamlessly replaced a rotting kitchen window overlooking the deck as part of the project. The team kept the workspace tidy, respected our property, and delivered master-level building. If you want a crew that takes genuine pride in their carpentry and delivers a premium result, look no further than Edgar, Donald, and the NJ Gold Star team!”

“Great job on staining my huge deck!”

“Carlos was professional, on time, and very polite. He finished my project efficiently and without wasting any time!”

“A close friend of ours recommended H&H for our deck renovation and we could not be more happy with our new deck! Don and his guys did a great job with every aspect of the project. I am a stickler for detail and every cut was perfect and spacing of of board and rails were spot on! Highly recommend!”

“requested a price quote for only the flooring, but they went above and beyond by presenting a quote for the entire project, including demolition of a wall, repairing another, tape and paint work, as well as installing the baseboard. The price was well within my budget, and the end result was stunning. My office is now the most beautiful one in the entire building.”
