“We hired Ricardo to complete an unfinished underside of a countertop that our previous (very expensive!) renovation contractors had left incomplete: the wood was not sanded, it was left unsealed and open to damage, and gaps around the wood were not filled/sealed. It was great working with Ricardo to come up with the right materials and solutions. He took a lot of time and trouble with the details: repeated measurements of the area to fit the trim, sourcing the right wood and stain, preparing samples for comparison, properly smoothing and sealing the exposed wood, properly applying silicon caulking to fill the gaps. He also managed to fix a problem with the under-counter strip lighting! Ricardo was also very careful to tape down paper to protect the floors and he cleaned up all the areas he worked on, perfectly.
