“Not only is this the best general contractor weve had in OC, the owner is a very genuine and knowledgeable guy. He answered every question, found ways for us to save money on materials, spend countless hours explaining and reassuring us which was refreshing to experience from a construction company (we havent had good experiences with other companies). Myself and my mother both recommend Top Family Construction. Theyre wonderful and well be working with them for all our future remodels.”

“Building from the ground up demanded careful coordination between contractors and inspectors. Foundation pouring, framing, roofing, and interior installations progressed steadily without unexpected delays. Communication remained consistent throughout the process. The finished home reflects strong craftsmanship and thoughtful design choices that support long-term durability.”

“Our street is very poorly lit and as a result coming home later in the evening was always a bit unnerving. I called Artisan & Co and spoke to Lester, he was very communicative and efficient. The next day the electrician came over to our house. We discussed the various options for installing a lamp post and made a plan. Two days later they showed up - the work was done cleanly, efficiently and professionally. Coming home to a well lit house makes me VERY happy! I have several more projects in the planning stages and I am thrilled to have found a company and a Contractor that is reasonably priced, pleasant to communicate with and does excellent work!”

“Nathan is an exceptional contractor whose quality of work truly went above and beyond my expectations. From the very beginning, he demonstrated professionalism, transparency, and a genuine commitment to ensuring that the project was completed to the highest standard. He took the time to thoroughly explain each step of the process, offering a clear breakdown of the materials, labor, and, most importantly, the reasoning behind each cost. This level of transparency made me feel confident that I was making informed decisions throughout the project. What sets Nathan apart is his ability to listen and understand exactly what I wanted. He carefully considered my ideas and vision, making sure every detail aligned with what I was trying to convey in my head. His attention to detail and craftsmanship were evident in every aspect of the work, and the final result exceeded anything I could have imagined.”

“These guys are the real deal. Did an incredible job with my renovation project. Very much recommended.”

“We recently completed a full kitchen and bathroom remodel with MJLA Builders, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. From start to finish, Matan and his team were professional, responsive, and incredibly skilled. If you're looking for a contractor who truly cares about quality, craftsmanship, and your satisfaction—look no further. Matan personally oversaw the project and made sure every detail was perfect. He had a clear vision, but was also extremely collaborative, taking our ideas and turning them into something even better than we imagined. The communication throughout the entire process was seamless—daily updates, quick replies, and honest timelines. Our kitchen now feels like something out of a design magazine—sleek cabinetry, stunning quartz countertops, flawless backsplash, and functional layout improvements that have completely changed how we use the space. The bathroom transformation is just as impressive. From the modern tile work to the high-end fixtures and thoughtful lighting, it's now our little sanctuary. The workmanship is top-notch. You can tell they don’t cut corners—everything feels solid, precise, and built to last. Matan brought in great energy and a "no problem is too big" attitude that made the entire process smooth and stress-free. He’s not just a contractor—he’s a problem-solver, a creative thinker, and someone who treats your home like it’s his own. We’ve worked with other contractors in the past, and this experience was night and day. MJLA Builders delivered on every promise—and then some. I’d recommend Matan and MJLA Builders to anyone without hesitation. Thank you for making our home beautiful—we truly love it!”
