“We were looking for a Painting Contractor and had already selected one for our project but had an appointment with Melvin. He was not only able to match the price of the other contractor but was able to move members of his crew around to start the project a day later and considering our compressed timeframe to get the work done, that was a much better fit for our situation. His crew arrived the next morning and said about to work patching holes priming fixing a wall that needed some additional work as well as starting to paint some of the areas we needed his crew was responsive, respectful, protected our furniture properly and cleaned everything up at the end of their workday. As promised the work was completed with a day to spare for us to prep for the move-in of our belongings into the house which felt clean and fresh with a new coat of paint. We were very, very happy with Melvin‘s work and responsiveness, as well as the value provided on the cost so much so that we hired him to perform some additional work in the house that included some light fixtures door locks, and other smaller projects I would highly recommend Melvin and his crew if you’re interested in a job that gets done well and on time and to a budget”

“In general, we picked the materials and took the lead on design, and Paul helped us talk through decisions and execute these projects efficiently.Paul provided excellent value for his services and his pricing was competitive. My husband enjoyed working alongside Paul during demolition and a few other tasks and was able to witness Pauls strong work ethic first-hand.Throughout the project, Paul was responsive and accommodating. He was always available to answer questions and offer advice. Despite the inevitable challenges that arise during renovations, his positive attitude and willingness to tackle problems head-on made the process quite smooth. We always appreciated his collaborative approach and friendly demeanor every step of the way.We wholeheartedly recommend Paul for any bathroom renovation project. His commitment to delivering value, his collaborative spirit, and his positive attitude make him a standout choice for homeowners seeking reliable and high-quality service.”

“The building management appreciated their focus on protecting public hallways and elevators.Negotiating a good contract, well thought out with design and materials was important to avoid cost overruns. The time we spent with DNB on these pre-constructions issues created a smooth construction period. Their after care has been phenomenal. Nothing has been too small for them to insure complete satisfaction.I can't say enough about DNB renovations and hope I have the opportunity to work with them in the future.”

“Construction in general can be a difficult process, waiting for materials, living in a construction site but they really made every effort to reduce any potential stress that naturally comes with the process. Big thank you to the team. Definitely hire them! Five stars! Before and after photos attached (white background and wire frames are before)”

“Here's the before and after of the bathroom remodel JMR did for us. The photos speak for themselves and, yes, this is the same bathroom. You can tell by the toilet location and window. What you can't see in the photos is what really sets JMR apart. They were prompt, showed up when they said they would, and delivered work that exceeded my expectations. The bathroom floor was level-poured, tile spacing is nearly perfect thanks to the use of leveling systems, and the entire bathroom, including the wall behind the mirrors, was waterproofed with RedGard. The wet room was built from scratch and properly waterproofed, with backer board installed above the tub deck. Skylight was added at my request, and it is amazing. Every structural and preventative measure I could think of was addressed. That's the difference between JMR and many builder-grade contractors who focus on cosmetic updates while leaving underlying issues untouched. JMR takes the time to do things correctly behind the walls, not just where you can see them. Were there issues during the project? Yes, but none caused by JMR. Any problems uncovered along the way were existing conditions, and they were always upfront about them. There were never any hidden costs or surprise overages, every additional expense was discussed and approved beforehand. Any changes or adjustments I requested were handled without complaint. Florenc's answer was almost always, "No problem," regardless of how complicated or big the request was.One piece of advice for homeowners: have a plan and select your materials ahead of time whenever possible. JMR will absolutely work with you on additions and changes, but some items, such as tubs and cabinetry, can have long lead times and aren't always available overnight. Before the master bathroom was even finished, I could already tell it was going to be incredible. In fact, it looked so good that it made the master bedroom look outdated by comparison. The next day I asked Florenc if they could remodel the bedroom as well... about a week later, the bedroom and master closet were finished too.I'm already looking for another project so I can hire them again.”

“Francisco was a pleasure to work with. Will look forward to working with him again in the future.”
