Steven Chomor says, “I was surprised to find out that installing a Level 2 EV charger in my garage would cost over $3000 (including for the Universal Charger which I purchased online for $600) but I was satisfied that the estimate was fair and the work done by the electrician Jacob Partoll was first rate! Our electric panel was located on the other side of the house from the garage. My wife has a Toyota Rav 4 Prime but my daughter and her husband drive a Tesla so it is nice to be able to charge both vehicles with this Universal Charger. The Waunakee Utility provides a $250 rebate and the US government tax credit of up to $1000. I presume that the EV charger installation will be an additional selling point for our home down the line if we decide to down-size. So, I decided to proceed despite the cost.”
