Jeff W. says, “This pool table may look like an old piece of furniture to some, but to me it is absolutely priceless. It has been in our family for three generations and holds a lifetime of memories. Joe and his friends spent countless hours gathered around it, laughing, playing, and making memories together. Over the years, they even carved their names into it. Knowing that this special table will now have a forever home with my sons’ closest friends, where those memories can continue to live on, means more to me than words can express. On a day that was over 100 degrees, neither you nor Brandon had to take on a fourth job, especially one as difficult as moving such a heavy pool table. Yet you both showed up with kindness, grace, and a willingness to help. You treated that table with such care and respect, and for that I will always be grateful. At the end of the move, I shared with you why the table was so meaningful. Then you pulled out your book of poems and asked Hanna, Nikki, and me to choose a number. I chose 96, for Joe’s upcoming birthday on September 6th. The poem you read resonated so deeply with us. It felt as though Joe himself was speaking through those words. In that moment, the room was filled with love, hope, and inspiration. The message “please let me through” has a lot of meaning to never give up, to be grateful, and to bless others through kindness and even through hard times you can break through find the true meaning in life, for me that poem was perfect and reminded us of what life is truly about today and my son spoke through you!! Thank you, Seth, for sharing your gift with us and keep spreading your light, you are an amazing soul and I’m so happy our paths crossed today!! Thank you for the compassion you showed, the care you gave to something that is irreplaceable to our family, and for reminding us that God truly does work in mysterious ways. What could have been just another moving job became a moment we will never forget. May God continue to bless you, Brandon, and everyone at Poetic Movers. Your kindness, generosity, and beautiful poems make a difference in people's lives, and today you made a difference in ours. Thank you for sharing Poem 96 with us. We will carry it in our hearts. With gratitude, love, and blessings, Barbi Walker, Hanna Wilson and Nikki Engle”
