“I own a second home upstate that my daughter lives in and I have been ripped off by every type of contractor there is. Living 4 hrs away and trying to find someone to do not only quality work but someone that actually shows up to do the work has been literally impossible over the last 2 years. And then I found Charles on thumbtack and I’m still in disbelief that he didn’t just respond immediately on Friday but I had an estimate ready by Monday morning. I paid the deposit( less than $150) and he came the same day! He did not ask to be paid anything additional during the process. He said you pay when everything is completed and you are satisfied. Scope of work involved installing 4 lights, baseboard molding, finishing tile backsplash, texture painting wall in kitchen, spackling ceiling in hallway, repairing holes in sheetrock. They do it all! I couldn’t be happier with Charles and motivated laborers! His punctuality, neatness, honesty, transparency and work ethic has finally put an end to my search for Mr. Fix It. Thank you Charles”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Valentin is a true professional, and finding someone like him is incredibly rare! After purchasing our new home, we discovered numerous plumbing problems that needed attention. Thankfully, we found Valentin, and he has been our trusted professional ever since. Over the years, he has helped us with a wide variety of plumbing issues, from repairing and replacing pipes to installing new plumbing fixtures. One particularly memorable situation was when our child accidentally flushed a toy down the toilet, causing a serious blockage that made the plumbing unusable. Valentin came to our rescue and resolved the problem professionally. He has also helped us multiple times in emergency situations, and we have always been able to count on his expertise, responsibility, and professionalism. Valentin is exceptionally skilled, reliable, punctual, and genuinely dedicated to doing his job right. He doesn't just provide a service — he finds solutions, even in difficult situations. We have been his loyal customers for years, and I can confidently say that professionals of his caliber are incredibly hard to find. If you have the opportunity to hire Valentin, consider yourself very lucky! I wholeheartedly recommend Valentin and Fairdrain Services to anyone looking for outstanding workmanship, honesty, and a professional they can truly trust. We couldn't be happier with his work!”
