There were some communication bumps over a weekend that concerned me but once we got them on site, John managed the project with only three hiccups. The first is minor but with a busy schedule, I shouldn't have had to reach out three times to ask for an estimate and schedule the work. They were very apologetic and finally provided a more than agreeable estimate. The other is a little more serious but I would prefer to know the cost of taking limbs off my fir trees BEFORE the expert is in the tree removing the limbs. I didn't plan to more than double my expense. The last was simply a matter of time management on their part with the added work but the crew chipped wood that I had asked to have as firewood---wood that was clearly 3 - 4 inches in diameter that would burn nicely in our outdoor garden fireplace. Even when I remarked that I wanted as much firewood as possible, the crew chose expediency over doing what I asked. They did cut up what was there, however, they reduced it by at least half in the choice to chip it. No worries though. Trees look better and the cost was reasonable. I can buy firewood. And I'd have them back in a heartbeat. Each of the crew was knowledgable, personable and professional. The issues were limited to communication which we share responsibility. ”
