“We were looking to close in an existing carport under the main roof of our house in the City Of Tampa.....a couple of walls, windows and a door...like a good citizen, I tried to apply for a permit and to my dismay i could not apply for a permit, without a Sealed Blueprint/Drawing from a Draftsman or Structural Engineer......my first 3 weeks of trying to find a company who would even give me a quote(MOST COMPANIES SAID THIS WAS TOO SMALL OF A PROJECT FOR THEM TO DRAW A PLAN), only ended with me getting quotes in $4000 and above...for a simple plan. No electrical, no HVAC, no SF changes....and finally after almost giving up, I found Holmes Drafting Svcs...I dont even know how I found them....the way algorithms are, I think they showed up in one of my feeds or something...but thank goodness! I spoke with a well informed girl (sorry I think her name was Alexis????? sorry if not), and she set my mind at ease almost instantly after I explained my needs and pleaded for help....she pleasantly said Holmes Drafting is there to help! And Help they did. Kyle came to do a site visit and was quick and very descript in his explanation of the process. I immediately felt a weight being lifted of my shoulders....he adjusted the price and provided the quote for the scope of work, and it was even cheaper than estimated! Not only that...the process takes time...there's an initial drawing made then sent for approval or changes, (and I had a couple of small changes), then the actual sealed drawing sent...the entire thing traditionally takes at least a couple of weeks, but these guys were done in a week! We are so thankful!!!!Without a doubt...HOLMES DRAFTING SERVICES comes HIGHLY RECOMMENDED from the Considine family.....we rcvd no discount to provide a good review or anything extra....this review was EARNED...just have a conversation with Kyle and you will see, this man has a heart of gold and a strong head on hs shoulders..dont waste your time with any other drafting svc.Thank you again!”

“Able to do a well done patch in a few walls that had minor holes when other contractors were saying walls have to be re-done completely.”

“There were plenty of contractors swarming on Manasota Key to solicit business after the disaster. I listened to the sales pitches of a few, but I knew to be wary.I found Smirnov Construction on the Better Business Bureau (BBB) website. I wanted a reputable, licensed contractor and left a message on the site. Max called me later that day.Boy, did I get lucky! Max and his team were great from start to finish! Max was very professional, responsive, patient (I had LOTS of questions about the project before and during) and enjoyable to work with. These traits were shared by the entire Smirnov team I worked with beginning to end. Once work began, I would add to this list that they were also very knowledgeable and good at what they do as well! They had suggestions for areas I had not thought of that turned out great. I am adding before and after photos to this review that show the incredible work they did.I would enthusiastically work with them again (hows the driveway restoration coursework going, Max? Ready for my driveway anytime soon? ) and recommend them to anyone considering quality home restoration or remodeling work at a fair price.”
