“We have been slowly renovating a 1200 sq. ft. bungalow purchased 7 years ago. At 90 years old, there was no insulation and most of the electric and plumbing was original. Built on a concrete slab with no crawl space, the house had a musty smell much of the year. Delmarva Building Solutions raised the floor 2” and installed a water/vapor barrier, vaulted the living room ceiling, removed a fireplace and installed new structural support to create an open concept living space, provided insulation throughout, rewired to existing code, and added new windows and a new front door. The musty smell is gone and there are no air leaks with the new insulation, flooring, door, and windows. JD communicated with us regularly and sent pictures as the work progressed. The bulk of the work was done within 5 weeks and would have been completed on time if it weren’t for a shipping delay in receiving cabinetry. JD’s crew provided quality work, especially Carlos who is a skilled craftsman. We highly recommend Delmarva Building Solutions and wish we had used them for earlier work that we had done. We certainly plan to use them for the next phase of our renovations.”

“Excited to start working with Dee.”

“I very highly recommend Donaway Home Solutions for any home renovation and water damage mitigation project. They just finished a project for us and did a fabulous job. A coupling failed inside a column in our house in Ocean city and water was dripping under the house. The plumber repaired the issue, and I called Donaway to fix up the column that he broke to get to the pipe. I didn't realize there was any damage but Dean and Dallas pointed out the water had gone under the hardwood and the island kitchen cabinets. They showed me where the hardwood flooring had started to buckle and dampness seeping up the cabinets. They asked me to call the insurance company immediately and met with the adjuster when he came. In a couple of days, the damage was much more visible. They put fans to dry out the wood and gave a reasonable estimate to replace the sub-floor, flooring and the island cabinets. We had guests who were going to check in two weeks later. Dean and Dallas went above to and beyond to select and procure the materials and worked long hours to complete the job with excellent workmanship in record time. They had to move all the furniture to their warehouse for storage, as there was no room in the house to keep all of it. They made recommendations of the right colors and materials and I didn't have to do a thing. The end result looks fabulous. Gavin and his wife hung up all the curtains and replaced the old rods with new ones, no charge, and his wife touched up the mural to remove a few scuff marks at the bottom from the demo and touched up the paint on the entire mural to remove any damage from the last decade and made it look brand new. The team left the house spic and span, with even the walls wiped down. Dean and Dallas also provided pictures and estimates to the adjuster and replied to questions from the insurance company. I am a very happy customer and would heartily recommend Donaway Home Solutions for any of your projects. Thank you, Dean, Dallas, Gavin and team for a fabulous job.”
