“On top of that she helped us stick to our budget and keep our design true to the mid-century modern look we were going for. I can't wait to use her again for our next project!”

“I worked with Shweta on a whole-house interior design project, and overall she is a very strong, professional designer. Pros: Shweta has excellent taste. Every piece of furniture and home item she selected was beautiful, thoughtful, and highly functional. Her designs feel cohesive without being impractical, which I really appreciated for a lived-in home. She is also extremely organized — her website, project tracking, and communication were all very professional and easy to follow. I always felt she was on top of details and generally looking out for her clients’ best interests. She runs her business like a true professional, and if you value structure, clear processes, and strong design vision, she excels in those areas. Cons: Shweta is based in Everett and charges additional travel fees for Seattle visits (typically ~$100–150 per visit). Time is also billed for furniture ordering, which can add up and is something clients should be aware of upfront. While she is professional, there were moments when I wished for more flexibility around budget constraints. Specifically, my “whole house design” discount was reduced by half at the very end of the project because I didn’t purchase every furniture item she selected. That felt disappointing, especially after communicating budget considerations earlier. Overall: Shweta is a talented, highly organized designer with great taste and a very polished process. I’d recommend her to clients who want a professional, full-service experience and are comfortable with structured pricing. For those with tighter or evolving budgets, I’d suggest having very explicit conversations early on about flexibility and discounts to avoid surprises later.”
