“He is extremely knowledgeable and knows how to teach kids in a way that helps them understand why behind the what. He is also very personable.”

“Violin lessons with Katy are the best. I've had several teachers over the years, but none of them were able to identify a problem and offer corrections like Katy can. She found gaps in my foundational skills and worked with me to make me a better musician all around. Rather than learn a song, I learned vital principles that I can implement repeatedly in all my work.”

“Shawn is very patient and helped me understand the fiddle easily for my 1st lesson, im looking forward to what a year or two worth of these lessons will bring!!”

“First, context: I'm an adult learner who began lessons for the first time with Daniela a couple of months ago. She's punctual and uses our lesson time effectively. She tailors instruction to my specific capabilities and aptitude. She melds sound pedagogy with modern adult learning theory for really amazing results. She assigns exercises and pieces that develop particular techniques, then quickly moves on to the next level when I'm ready. Her approach makes for rapid improvement and confidence building. I highly recommend Daniela for thoughtful, personalized instruction.”

“He was reliable, engaging, and made lesson time fun. My son improved significantly under Brian’s instruction. He is a great teacher!”
