Chris Morrison says, “I hired Cohen Homes as the general contractor for a variety of projects in my home. My goal was to complete an unfinished renovation and modernize the space before renting it out. The project included painting the walls and ceilings, patching holes, replacing and installing railings, installing a backsplash, adding shelving, replacing mirrors and light fixtures, and installing new flooring. Literally an insane amount of here's and there's because I tried to do some of it myself and realized I was in over my head.I worked with Raz, who walked through the home with me and provided thoughtful recommendations. I really appreciated his input because I'm not an interior designer and wasn't sure what finishes or upgrades would provide the best value. He even advised against some ideas that would have been overkill for my project. One thing that really stood out was that Raz wasn't trying to upsell mehe was focused on building trust and making sure I spent my money wisely.Based on that experience, I decided to move forward with Cohen Company. Throughout the project, Raz was regularly on-site and kept me updated with frequent texts and photos of the progress. Whenever a question came up or they encountered an issue, he always reached out to discuss my options instead of making assumptions or surprising me with additional charges later.During the renovation, they discovered a leak from the toilets. We initially shut off the water to see if it was a temporary issue, but after the new floors were installed, the leak returned. At that point, I decided to have the toilets replaced as well. Throughout the entire process, Raz's communication remained excellent. At no point did I feel out of the loop or uncertain about what was happening in my home, and I always felt that the project was in good hands. At the end of the project, Raz walked through everything with me to make sure I was satisfied with the work. I was very happy with the quality, attention to detail, and overall professionalism. It's clear that customer relationships matter to him, and it shows in the way he manages a project.I would absolutely use Cohen Homes again for future projects and would confidently recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, communicative, and honest general contractor.”

I also must give a shout out to his office team lead by Trista. They were always responsive and polite (and believe me I could make a saint cry!). My appreciation goes out to you and your staff. Finally, once again, I want to thank you, James, for sticking with me and easing my frustrations and worries. If I am ever crazy enough to do something like this again, I will be calling.”

Teresa P. says, “We had general contractor Greg Stephens over to repair a door threshold that had significant rot and general wear. Not only did he offer a very fair estimate, he was patient and happy to address any questions we had about the repair. Greg was also very easy to communicate with via the Thumbtack app or in any other manner. As with any job, sometimes unexpected challenges present themselves and in this case, they were all handled professionally and efficiently. His process was very straightforward and we were incredibly satisfied with the result. As expected of a quality general contractor, Greg seemed to have solid working knowledge of various disciplines and was willing to provide us useful guidance regarding other, unrelated, repairs or concerns that we have been considering. All in all, I highly recommend Greg and would have no hesitation to use his services again.”

Cameron M says, “I normally find contractors via recommendations from friends and family with mixed results, usually bad. After dealing with a dishonest contractor on my last project, I decided to look online and find a company with excellent reviews and lots of remodel photos - and so glad that I did! ATX did a complete bathroom remodel in a week, stayed on budget and did a beautiful job. Koren, Daniel and the subcontractors were all very professional and did what they said they were going to do. It was so refreshing working with this team and would definitely use them again.”
