I am 100% satisfied with the service I received and will absolutely be using Five Star Electric Service again for any future electrical work. The electrician was professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and dependable. It’s rare to find someone who follows through and delivers exactly what they promise, and that’s exactly what he did. If you’re looking for an electrician who knows what he’s doing and gets the job done right the first time, I highly recommend them I finally have my wired ring camera installed after 5 years of the run around with other electricians. Either completely incompetent or a crook, I'm not sure. Came to fix my heat pump, was nice and friendly but claimed that I don't have a heat pump and just have AC. He recommended I pay him to buy/install a whole new system. My system is in fact a heat pump and someone else was able to fix it. I don't recommend him at all.

SCAM- Beware of this guy — total waste of money and time. I hired him to fix my heat and paid him $325. The heat worked for a few minutes while he was still here, and the moment he left it stopped again. It’s now been 3 days, and he has completely ignored my messages and refuses to come back to actually fix the problem. He took the money, did a temporary patch-up, and disappeared. Zero professionalism, zero accountability. If you value your time, money, and sanity, stay far away. I’m now having to pay someone else to fix what he claimed he fixed. Thumbtack should honestly remove people like this from the platform. I’ve attached text messages where I have no response

Within minutes of pressing "send" in Thumbtack the phone rang! The gentlemen, Joshua from 5 Stars was pleasant, asking for details of the problem. My oil boiler kept shutting off, so not heat and hot water. He was on-site within the hour, as he was very close. He began testing and diagnosing, and after a couple of hours, a few part replacements and we were up and running. I have contracted him for the winter. Great work, Joshua and Aaron! Thank you. He and Aaron worked

I usually don’t have issues with pricing, but the contractor was clearly overcharging. When I asked for specifics, he claimed the cost was high because an expensive part needed to be replaced. However, he was later seen replacing only a small plastic seal. When confronted, he changed his story, denying that he ever said a part needed replacement. To make matters worse, the person assisting him had a strong smell of alcohol.
