My two kids have been taking lessons via Zoom and they are progressing so well! It’s a really good system! Definitely a great learning experience if you want to learn a new language. Highly recommend if you want one-on-one or group lessons. My kids are taught at the same time.

I have loved my experience with 5 Languages Instruction. Octavian and Gemma have been outstanding. Their course material is on point and guides you to a better understanding of the language. The immediate feedback and conversation is great and helps solidify what they just taught me. I’m way further along in a few months here than I ever was with my 1000 day streak on Duolingo.
I continue to enjoy my lessons, my instructor is patient, knowledgeable and funny which definitely helps the process. Definitely worth the time and value, highly recommended.
Octavian is amazing. He teaches using real-world examples and is even helping me connect the dots between a language that I know fairly well, Spanish, and a language that I am learning a little more each week, Italian! He is friendly, professional and a pleasure to work with. I’m looking forward to being able to use my Italian language skills with my relatives. Bonus: he is also fluent in the other languages that I hope to learn in the future - French and Portuguese!
I’ve been taking weekly Spanish lessons with Octavian for about 3 months and my knowledge has improved. We meet for 60 minutes over zoom once a week. I started at very beginner and I’ve been progressing at the speed I expected.
Octavian has been teaching Spanish to our high school daughter. He is very responsive, flexible with timings and really helps the students get an understanding of the language. Our daughter says Octavian is the best and he explains things very clearly and well. We chose Octavian for Spanish I high school skip test and have full confidence that he is doing a great job helping our daughter. We hope to continue working with him for spanish through the school year. Thanks Octavian.
It is great working with Ottaviano. We meet once a week on Zoom for an hour. My learning is progressing much faster now. We have actual conversations in Italian and that is how you progress - the "pressure" of actually having to talk, rather than just study. He makes it easy, is fun to work with, and effective!
Amazing experience and I’m learning so much in my first month!
I started learning Spanish with Octavian a few months ago virtually and privately. I am very impressed with the amount we have covered thus far. He makes sure I truly understand something before moving on. He’s very passionate and enthusiastic about what he teaches and it shows. Octavian is reasonable when it comes to hourly rates for private sessions. In his lessons, he provides material for all types of learners, is very engaging, and genuinely wants to see his students succeed. I look forward to continue learning with him. Highly recommend.
My daughter is a Junior taking Honors Spanish 3. This is a challenging class for her and her grades have started to slip. She has been working with Octavio for a few weeks now and is feeling like it has been a great help. I have been seeing her grades creep back up. Octavio has made the lessons fun and interesting for her. He has been very responsive and has made scheduling very easy. I highly recommend him.
We are very impressed with Octavian. My daughter is in 9th grade and has taken Spanish 2 and was struggling a bit in Spanish. Within a month of starting classes with Octavian, her grades improved and more importantly she is starting to like the Spanish language. I would definitely recommend Octavian. He is very friendly, has excellent command of the language and is a wonderful teacher.
Great instructor, I tried 3 different tutors and finally found this one and it works great.
I am so lucky to have found Octavian. Learning French feels so much more digestible with him. We move at a really good pace and do a lot of review so that things stick. Merci beaucoup 😊
Very responsive and accommodating to our schedule. My son looks forward to every class-I will probably end up signing up my daughter soon too!
Octavian has been great. I have really enjoyed all of his lessons. He has a lot of knowledge to share. Hearing little things here and there about phrases I may see on Duolingo and know whether or not an Italian would phrase a sentence in that way, and learning the proper way to speak with Octavian is great. His native accent is very easy to understand. Highly recommend!
Octavian is a very good instructor and he is very knowledgeable about his materials/lessons. He has make it easy and interesting for my daughter to like learning french. So far is going great and i am excited that she is learning new languages…
Octavian is a wonderful tutor! He is incredibly patient and encouraging. He’s great at making you feel comfortable and natural speaking a foreign language and really gifted at knowing how to design a plan for the abilities you have. Looking forward to continuing my lessons with him!
Great professor, very personable and prepared
Octavian is helping me practice my French and Italian and really enjoying the experience!
If you want an awesome, fun, enthusiastic French teacher please choose Octavian. He’s really easy to learn with and very encouraging. He makes learning really fun and interactive. Our hour flies by! I’m retaining a ton of information and find myself practicing between lessons because he really makes you want to learn. Octavian encourages you to record your zoom lessons so you can review everything that you learned. He is always on time and he’s super flexible with my schedule. I look forward to his lessons every week! Merci beaucoup Octavian!
