I had a dead possum in yard. Called 311 and they said I’m on my own. Remembered Thumbtack and was connected to 5 Star Pest Services. Process was smooth, he quoted a fair price based on my situation along with arriving within 30 mins. He was professional, took the possum with him and sprayed bleach. Whole interaction took 10 mins. The termite control service itself was good, and the treatment appears to have been completed as expected. However, the condition in which the property was left afterward was very disappointing. The crew needed to cut some tree branches to perform the work, but they left leaves and branches scattered throughout the property without cleaning them up. They also removed some outdoor lights and did not reinstall them. The yard was left looking messy and unfinished. I politely requested that the area be cleaned and restored to the condition it was in before the work began, but I was told they could do so only if I paid an additional $150. After spending approximately $2,200 on the service, I would have expected the property to be left as it was found. While the termite treatment itself was satisfactory, the lack of cleanup and attention to the property’s condition afterward significantly affected my overall experience

Solid company. I had rats in my attic. The technician came and diagnosed the problem the same day. He returned the next day to do the work then came back a couple of times to make sure the job was done right. I highly recommend this company.
