Worked with 503 Builders to build a backyard office and it turned out awesome! Kohei and his crew were great to work with. Everyone who worked on the project was friendly, skilled and a pleasure to have at our property. I would hire again them for future projects.

About 503 Builders LLC
I have always had a passion for construction, design and increasing home values. From my personal bad experiences with sub par contractors that take on too many jobs or has a sloppy finish, I figured our team can do better than the industry "standard". Being Japanese in this industry, we focus on laser like precision and take pride in our finish carpentry. Fast, Good, Affordable, you get to pick all three.

The new deck turned out better than we expected! Kohei's employees were respectful, helpful and polite.
Gave me a reasonable quote and did the work very quickly happy with the results. Will consider in the future for future projects.
Kohei and team helped us finish out our basement after we hit a wall trying to be our own GC. I'm so glad we did the work they do is incredible and I couldn't recommend them more.
Kohei and his team did a fantastic job on a challenging project. We had water damage in a bathroom that required replacing the vanity, sheetrock and redoing the shower, tile and all. Kohei worked with us to select replacement material and the installation of everything was perfect. We now have a beautiful new bathroom. The challenge was how to make the plumbing work with the new equipment. Several times I was sure it couldn't be done but the team at 503 Builders worked it out to perfection.
10/10 would recommend. Kohei and his team did an amazing job! Top quality, very professional, responsive, and helpful. I'm very detailed and picky, and this is perfect. If you're considering a remodel, Kohei is your guy.
Kohei’s team did a great job. Attention to detail was on point throughout. They removed an old concrete patio and built a new deck with a finished awning. It looks amazing. They also built an extremely well-built fence on the backside of the yard. Kohei was great at communicating throughout any weather delays or other issues. Highly recommended. We will return as customers
We needed a contractor to help us with a complete renovation down to the studs (in some of the rooms), new roof, windows, plumbing, electrical, paint, etc. Not only that, but we needed someone to help us with a complex renovation loan process with HUD. Kohei and his team were easy to work either way and also added valuable collaboration and ideas. He was there to save the day several times when we ran into unforeseen gotchas! Renovations can be stressful, but Kohei and his team were always a part of the solution and I always felt they had us! We will be using them again! Just need to find the next house that needs love 😜
Kohei and his teams of contractors did a fantastic job on building the patio I’ve always dreamed about. Starting with a retaining wall and then the lanai with skylights and build in recessed lighting. I am very happy with the results and look forward to working with them on my next project.
Kohei did indoor and outdoor work on a rental property of ours. Replacing exterior doors; draining the rainwater from the roof to a french drain; interior painting and redoing hardwood floors; plus several smaller projects in the kitchen and bathroom. He was excellent to work with! Great communication, good team, on time and work done well. He won't be your cheapest bid, but you'll get his full attention and a job well done. I highly recommend!
503 Builders did an amazing job on our full home renovation in Hillsboro! Kohei and his crew delivered a beautiful product on schedule and at the price quoted. We will definitely use them again in the future should the need arise.
503 Builders LLC did an incredible job redoing my backyard. They were professional, efficient, and brought my vision to life with great attention to detail. The quality of work was top-notch, and the crew was respectful and clean. I couldn’t be happier with the results, I highly recommend them for any outdoor project
We hired Kohei and his team for several projects, and everything turned out amazing. They completely changed the layout of our yard including a retaining wall, fence and plants. They also laid a flagstone patio, a concrete patio and assembled a gazebo at another property. They remodeled a small guest house as well. Kohei is a great communicator and always keeps you apprised of the timeline and next steps. The work is done in a reasonable time frame as well. We’ve been happy with our experience!
The project was the demo/replacement of a 35-year-old 100' wood retaining wall. The job was non-typical, plus access to the job site was limited. This caused a number of contractors to no-bid. I was directed to Thumbtack by a contractor relative and that is where I found 503 Builders. From the first meeting, lead estimator Kohei T impressed us with his can-do attitude and willingness to listen to our input on how to proceed. While other contractors had proposed overly-expensive and solutions that were not suitable for the site, 503B worked with our initial idea to replace "like with like". They were able to begin and finish the project in a timely fashion. Naturally, project issues arise and my input was sought out and taken into account. One Recommendation: Clarity and timeliness of communication between contractor/sub/workers could be improved upon. Sometimes there were language issues. Working with Kohei T was a very positive, open, and honest experience. We are very happy with the final product and would absolutely hire 503 Builders again!! -Marty
Kohei and his crew are marvelous! They renovated my one-car garage - added insulation, dry wall, epoxied the floor, built cupboards and installed shelving. His electrician also added another circuit to the garage. The entire process was easy and efficient. Communication was clear and professional. The work is flawless...Kohei is a perfectionist of the best kind! I highly recommend 503 Builders LLC. I am so pleased with their work!
The 503 team was great to work with. We were well informed throughout the whole process. Kohei was able to expertly diagnose our problem and provide us with the best solution. He was always honest, direct and easy to understand. I would recommend 503 for any home renovation project.
Best work
I had an old broken fireplace removed. Kohei and his team were outstanding. He always communicated with me and they showed up exactly when they said. They were clean and respectful of my home. They were conscientious problem solvers and respectful of my budget. I will be hiring them again for my next project.
