I hired 915 Maids for a deep clean of my apartment, and when I came home, I honestly wasn’t sure what had been cleaned. The vents were still dusty, the kitchen table wasn’t cleaned, the floors were sticky, the bathroom mirror wasn’t cleaned, the shower looked untouched, and there were still crumbs on the kitchen chairs. They did give me a 50% refund, which I appreciate, but I’m still not really sure what I paid for. I understand they prefer someone to be home for a walkthrough, but as working people, we aren’t home in the middle of the day, so that isn’t always possible. I just feel like these are pretty basic things that should have been taken care of with a deep clean. If you’re going to advertise a deep-cleaning service, I think your cleaners should be properly trained on what that actually means.
