We hired them to put metal edging and white rock around our garden and tree, along with re-mulching the garden & pull up our monkey grass. Originally, the job was so bad we had to ask them to come back. The edging wasn’t even in the ground, they didn’t pull the monkey grass, the edging stakes were sticking up and the weed barrier was coming out of the garden. I then had to message them multiple times to come back and fix it. Once they did, the monkey grass still wasn’t pulled up, the barrier was still showing and we had to cut it ourselves. Overall a very disappointing experience for $721.

Do not use!! I hired Yard Up Landscaping for several projects, including gravel/drainage work, a front pathway, and flower bed work. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst contractor experiences I’ve had, and I would not recommend them. They did not fully complete any of the work. Instead, they partially started several areas and left me with unfinished, incorrect, and poorly done work that I have since had to go back and redo myself. The front pathway was started in the wrong location. They used metal edging and left it several inches above grade, did not excavate properly, did not use landscape/weed fabric, did not use leveling sand, and most of the path was essentially sitting directly on clay soil. It was not properly set, leveled, stabilized, or installed in a way that would keep it from moving. The gravel/drainage areas were also not excavated deep enough, not graded correctly, and not installed to function properly. Nothing they worked on was completed to the standard discussed, and in my opinion, the work was not even done to a basic landscaping standard. I have had to redo essentially all of it. The worst part was the communication. The project dragged on with repeated delays, missed follow-up dates, inconsistent updates, and poor follow-through. After giving them multiple opportunities to correct the issues, I told them not to return and requested a partial refund (which of course they did not provide or respond to) Based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering Yard Up Landscaping. Get every detail in writing, inspect the work closely, and be very careful paying anything substantial up front.
Never got back to me when he said he would
Contractor returned to site to address initial complaint. Added the necessary soil to fill up to level and bring the job to completion
