I had some popcorn ceilings that tested positive for asbestos removed before moving into a newly purchased house. Gabriel was very responsive and quick to provide information about the asbestos removal portion that others had not, which was ultimately why i chose to go with them, in addition to the fact that they could also handle the refinishing portion after the removal. I got regular updates and the finished ceilings look good.

Did not end up hiring for the project as it was canceled but they were very responsive and would use them in future projects.
A&R gave us a competitive bid on removing our asbestos popcorn ceilings. They were also able to schedule quickly to work with our timeline. The team was professional, friendly, and took good care of our home. The job supervisor, Enrique, even texted us photos of the progress. They did a great job: the place was clean and there was no damage to the ceilings or walls. All in all, we were very pleased we chose A&R Construction.
A & R construction is great! They are professional, followed all permit process and did a test after removal to ensure cleaness. They also provided a formal report after removal. The work is in high quality even when I didn't ask for retexture. I would definitely recommend them to popcorn ceiling removal projects.
Gabriel and team were very good. They setup the area very well - got rid of all the asbestos tape. Gabriel gave me recommendations for other places to watch for and how to abate it. I will hire them again next time I need work done.
Gabriel and his team did a good job removing our popcorn ceiling. The pricing was competitive and they completed our project in a few days. Overall, I’m pleased with the result and would hire again.
Communication was poor leading up to the job. We booked a month in advance. Didnt visit site until start date, discovered complications which forced us to alter reservations. Dust covered every square ft of my home, when I would've covered items with a tarp, a number of walls were left damaged
A&R came out during the Snow Storm the weekend of 2/12-2/14 from Kent, WA to my house in Vancouver, WA and were able to remove my asbestos popcorn ceilings without delay. They were punctual, professional, and communicated with us prior to the appointment to make sure we understood how it will all go. They did an amazing job removing it all & taking care of our house. Beautifully done. Thank you, Gabriel & crew!
A&R construction did a fantastic job resurfacing/painting our ceilings after having our popcorn ceiling removed as well as patching up holes from old intercom systems. Workers were professional and worked hard to complete the job. The job took a little longer than initially planned but the additional time needed was communicated. I would highly recommend A&R Construction.
Fabulous! Alfonso is an incredible builder and a great communicator. I hired him to build a garage for me and it was up in no time! He has pride in his work and goes way above expectations. He will give his customers exactly what they want and more. Also his constant positive attitude is remarkable. The bid was great and the build even better! If you want value, quality, professionalism, honesty, timely service... hire this man!!
