Dumi and her team did an amazing job coordinating our wedding! From the timeline preparation to ceremony setup and details to the decor, she thought through every small detail and made sure that everything went smoothly. Our venue setup was a bit awkward for the ceremony entrance, and Dumi figured out a way to funnel everyone in and keep the bride hidden before the ceremony started. It was an absolute pleasure working with Dumi! If you are looking for someone to support coordination for your wedding or other special event, look no further, because Dumi is your BEST option! We booked Dumi's "Day of" coordination services and we could not be happier with her work. From the moment we started working with her, Dumi was very organized, professional, and often gave very helpful feedback/tips for our event based on her prior experience. Dumi led our wedding rehearsal the day before the wedding and was so on top of it! On the day of our event, Dumi made sure everything went off without a hitch and we were actually ahead of schedule for much of our wedding which gave us more time for photos with our guests. From our immediate families, wedding party, and even some of the guest attendees at our wedding, people could not stop praising Dumi and her excellence as a day of coordinator! If we had to do it all over again, we would re-book Dumi for our wedding without hesitation!

From the initial messages through the end of the event it was a pleasure to work with Dumi as our day of coordinator. Dumi’s skills in coordination and management shined while working with our small but oddly-challenging group as she deftly wrangled all vendors, set up beautiful spaces, handled a chunky situation with tact, and allowed two anxious people to have the peace they needed to survive their day; all while working through an unplanned downpour. Dumi exceeded my standards and executed everything outlined in the original agreement. We couldn’t have done it without her.
I can't say enough good things about Dumi - she was so kind, funny, communicative, a great listener, a lifesaver at many times, and made sure our big day was a complete success. Our wedding would not have been as amazing and perfect without her and Brandin there. She made sure everything we wanted to do to make our day special went off without a single hiccup. I have no idea how she can manage to make a 160 person wedding run so smoothly but she makes it look easy - it brought me so much peace of mind knowing she was there. Some memorable moments for me are that while I was busy on my wedding morning Dumi made sure everything was in place and reported back to me what was happening/being set up so I never felt out of the loop. Then I realized I forgot silver sharpies for the guest book and out of nowhere she pulls out exactly what we needed from her fanny pack!! She is always one step ahead. Dumi also made sure my pictures were on point and was throwing my veil to make it look like it was blowing in the wind - she literally thinks of everything. She was not only my coordinator but she was my bestie for the day. If there is anyone you can trust to bring your vision to life during your wedding, it's Dumi. You would be so lucky to have her by your side.

Dumi is an angel on earth and a true miracle worker! Hiring Dumi was the ABSOLUTE BEST DECISION I made in my wedding planning! I had a small elopement planned and hired her sort of later in my planning just because I wanted the day to be relaxed and run smoothly. This turned out to be the best money I spent in the whole wedding process - On the morning of the event, my HMUA (who i had done a trial with and vetted and paid in advance) no showed - then called 45 min late and said she couldn't make it and forgot to let me know or find a replacement - but offered to still come --- Two hours late! I was absolutely beside myself - Dumi went into action and SAVED THE DAY - She made the executive decision that we could not wait 2 hours - and she found a replacement HMUA that put us only 1 hour behind schedule !who was actually cheaper than my original HMUA (and actually did a better job!). She talked me through getting a refund. Needless to say the day was thrown off a bit and I was very stressed, but she stayed by my side the whole time, calmed me down as things were getting nuts, and made the whole ceremony go off and still be beautiful! She thinks of absolutely everything - and she was great moral support during the day also because I was inside feeling devastated that the relaxing beautiful day I had planned for so long had sort of become chaos because of my floozy HMUA. I will be eternally grateful to her for her help on our wedding day. If you are thinking about hiring her, DO IT - it will be the best money you spend on your wedding day!.
My wedding was 2/18/23 and it was absolutely PERFECT! WE LOVE DUMI! She went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly! I really appreciated how thorough and responsive she was from the moment I hired her about 6 months out from my wedding. Even though she was hired for day of coordination, she was very helpful and did everything she could to make sure the day went perfectly. Even designing my wedding venue with all my decor on the day before the wedding after our wedding ceremony rehearsal. The whole process went so smooth, we were really in sync and she made it a priority to know my vision exactly! I couldn’t have asked for a better coordinator to help me make all my wedding dreams come true. I’m sad the wedding is now over and we can’t work together anymore. We definitely recommend Dumi for all your wedding coordination needs, you won’t regret it!! 😁
Hiring Dumi was the best decision we made during our entire wedding planning process. She shattered my expectations by not only being our fearless leader the day of but the thought, preparation and organization she put into everything in the months leading up was over and beyond. She has a natural ability to lead and her instincts are spot on. Combine that with the fact that she loves what she does and you really can’t go wrong by having her as your wedding coordinator. Our event was no easy feat as we had to make a venue change just days prior due to the storms in Northern California on 12/31. Dumi’s skillset and command to get our crew into gear for those changes was invaluable. All the while she helped me remain calm. I had full trust in her from start to finish and not only did she wow us, when she left the evening of the wedding all of our guests cheered and clapped for her at the end of the night. She is the real deal and any future bride & groom would be so lucky to have her in their corner.
Dumi was amazing to work with. She’s a straight shooter, easy to communicate with, very organized, detail oriented, and her day/month of coordination services was key to executing our wedding day. Additionally, we worked with her her to source a florist and musician and both vendors were amazing. My best friend also worked with Dumi for coordination services for her own wedding this year. We both, highly recommend!
Dumi is an excellent choice for a coordinator. She is very responsive and extremely professional. She is definitely someone you can rely on for making quick decisions and ensuring that vendors follow through. For our wedding we had a last minute venue change that caught us off guard only 2 weeks before the day. Dumi was fast to respond to the issue by helping us in coordinating a last minute venue and in ensuring all vendors were informed and prepared for that change. The wedding was fabulous and exceeded our expectations!!

If you are hesitating to hire Dumi, I would say stop hesitating and just hire her. Dumi is the best. She is very organized and thinks of everything. Details that you didn't think of, she has. If you don't know how a certain detail in the wedding could be done, she gives you options. We had a small wedding and our reception was us playing board games with our guests. When I told Dumi our plans, she didn't even bat an eye at our non-traditional approach to our wedding. Other day-of-coordinators were a little bit more judgmental about what we wanted and there is no worse feeling than feeling like that idea you have for you wedding is silly. With Dumi, there was no judgement. She just asks very thoughtful questions to make sure that what you are thinking about becomes a reality. And Dumi delivered. I am a person with high anxiety but with Dumi, my wedding was very stress free. She is so trustworthy and a great advocate for the couple. If a problem does arise during the wedding, she will let you know but also tell you how she handled the problem just so that you are not surprised by any changes that may have happened while you were getting ready. Her problem solving skills are top notch and I was thoroughly impressed by her. I have zero regrets hiring A Gordon Event and I am so appreciative to her and her team.
Dumi took what was suppose to be a small DIY yourself wedding that became a large DIY destination wedding. We contacted her late in the game and she worked her magic to not only bring everything under control but turned out a beautiful wedding and reception. We couldn’t ask for more on that special day. Dumi also was able to get us some professional staff such as a DJ, wait staff, etc. at a discount which we were very grateful for. She has a wealth of ideas and information and provided insight into things that we didn’t even think about. All in all, it was an amazing experience for us to work with Dumi to make my daughter’s wedding truly special.
Dumi was awesome! This was my second wedding so I felt I had everything under control, but she stepped in and brought up things I hadn't even considered! I didn't want to give up control, but I'm glad I did because she was professional and on top of everything. She helped out in anything and everything, literally. I am so happy I chose her to help with my wedding. My husband and I are very grateful for her.
