Reviews
I paid $179 for an HVAC service visit and was disappointed with the result. The condenser coil cleaning discussed for the visit was not completed, and the system issue was not properly resolved. During the appointment, the technician told me he routinely “tops off” R-22 systems with another refrigerant. He did not provide a written diagnosis, leak-test results, the exact refrigerant he planned to use, or a documented retrofit plan for my R-22 system. I had to hire another licensed HVAC company afterward for a proper assessment and repairs, including servicing the older system correctly. I recommend getting a detailed written scope beforehand, including the refrigerant type, leak testing, coil cleaning, all work included, and warranty terms.
