Reviews
Edwin and his team did an incredible job on my house. They showed up and handled everything with total professionalism from start to finish. The quality of their structural and exterior work was outstanding, everything was done right, cleaned up properly, and looks beautiful. I couldn't be happier with the results. Would absolutely hire them again and highly recommend A2RELIABLE to anyone looking for a trustworthy, skilled contractor.
We needed a new front porch unexpectedly. Edwin was honest and professional. He explained in detail everything regarding the project and cost. He worked with us to ensure we understood what was happening at every stage of the project. His team was punctual and worked nonstop. The finished product was better than we imagined. I would use him again for sure.
I hired A2-Reliable Construction to fix my front steps. Because of safety concerns and how old they were, reconstruction was needed. Edwin, the owner, was both knowledgeable and approachable; he helped me find a price that suited my budget. The crew was also hardworking and friendly and made sure everything was cleaned up afterward.
🚨 WARNING: Do NOT hire A2 Reliable Construction LLC 🚨 I paid this company $1,500 upfront for deck painting, wallpaper removal, and interior painting. Their workers showed up for only a day and a half total, then vanished without finishing a single job. Here’s what they left behind: • ✅ Deck half-finished — only partially double-coated and never completed. • ✅ Wallpaper removal botched — they ripped off only the top layer and then told me to paint over glue instead of fixing it properly. • ✅ No-shows for days — they ignored calls, texts, and reminders and never returned to complete anything. • ✅ Admitted they would not come back unless I agreed to additional unrelated work — effectively holding my deck job hostage. • ✅ Left my home in disarray and forced me to hire another contractor to clean up their mess and finish their abandoned work. I have documented everything — photos, messages, timeline, and the demand letter I sent them — and I am pursuing recovery through Consumer Affairs and Small Claims Court. This company is unprofessional, unresponsive, and irresponsible. Save yourself the stress, money, and headache — do NOT trust them with your home or your time.
Couple of reviews about lack of reliability and lack of communication from them is accurate. I scheduled an appointment for estimate which got rescheduled. Then when the technician came they never got back with an estimate. This is despite texting them directly and on Thumbtack.
Great job I'm hiring them to do more work their the best!!! And so polite and honest to the max ! Love these guys ...
Good communication and executed job well. Quote was reasonable for this job but a little too high on another so not sure I can use them again. Too many Jersey City contractors significantly overquote and so I am still looking for a reasonable contractor. Hopefully they can requote appropriately so I can keep using them.
affordable, professional and very communicative. Their team transformed my porch. thank you!
Nice work
This company was absolutely perfect. They went beyond my expectations to bring our vision to life. They were very professional, courteous of my time, and completed the work very fast. Awesome team over there! They redid my sidewalk, walkway to my backyard, and replaced my rotted patio to a paver deck. Everything came out absolutely amazing. I recommend A2RELIABLE to everyone!!! I’ll definitely use them again in the future!
A2reliable has delivered! Edwin made sure to rectify any misunderstanding, as well as making sure I felt certainty in what needed to be addressed and delivering confidence in his ability to execute with quality. Edwin and his team did an outstanding job, I can now rest easy knowing I am covered for many years to come. Goes without saying I am a satisfied customer and have already setup another task for them to take care of next week. The way Edwin has taken care of me, I am most likely going to have them take care of most, if not all of my repairs in the future.
Great job start to finish, we will definitely use this company again
