About Aaron Hawes
Experienced handyman/builder/carpenter. Specializing in custom work, design & installations but happy to work on simple repairs. I'm always trying to break the mold from the typical contractor. I'm responsive, thorough & do what I say I will do. I'm not always the cheapest but try my best to give everyone a good experience.
Reviews
Aaron was really great to work with. He talked through my project and asked helpful questions through the planning. He prepped in his workshop space ahead of his installation visit to minimize disruption to our household. He did a number of things around our home but the main project was in our living room, building out a custom bookshelf and cat climbing wall.
I definitely lucked out choosing Aaron to do some renovation work for our new home purchase. The quality of work he gave us was definitely worth the cost. He went above and beyond what we expected. I would definitely recommend him for flooring, painting, plumbing, and general handyman work. He was easy to work with and an all around nice guy. I will for sure be using him in the future.
Excellent all around! Quality of work, responsiveness, value and professionalism. Aaron has it all. Highly recommend
Aaron was amazing! He reached out to me right away and was very responsive. He was punctual, contacted me the night before to confirm our appointment, and knew exactly what was needed to install my built in microwave. Very professional, reliable, and trustworthy. Would recommend him to anyone!
Super nice guy but should not be hanging any artwork. There were multiple holes in my wall where he clearly measured and realized he was off. The end result was off center artwork and visible holes in between them. He filled the hole w caulk not putty. I had to pay to have it removed and redone. When they took the artwork down I saw even more holes in the wall. The house was newly painted and the walls were pristine.
Aaron was very professional and responsive. Communication was great.
Got in, got the work done (repair of floor planks after slab leak was repaired in two separate locations). And it looks great again. I recommend this handyman.
Aaron did a great job installing and grouting tile around my fireplace hearth, he even matched the grout to the existing flagstone and found some quarter round molding to match the floor. It looks great, I love it! Aaron also installed my tv on the wall above the fireplace and finished up some baseboards in my kitchen that wasn’t finished from a previous floor installation contractor. Aaron was easy to talk to and very responsive and respectful. He was on time and very professional. I will use Aaron in the future when I have projects that need to be completed.I highly recommend Aaron!
Apologize about the delayed review- Was in the middle of my 5-Star rating and none of my review saved.... Thanks Thumbtack for having the update review available.... As far as Aaron as our handyman, I can not say enough good things. He says what he is going to do and does what he says!! Took on a project last minute for me and turned out great!! Has great pride in the jobs he does, great attention to detail. Thanks again Aaron for the great work!! Will definitely be calling him for the couple upcoming renovation projects that are being planned.....
