I needed 3 bathroom vent boots replaced. I was concerned about finding a roofing contractor who won’t try to sell me a $50k new roof replacement. My experience with Nick was completely different. He never tried to upsell, he gave me practical and sound guidance regarding the condition of the roof. He went above and beyond to fix what was needed to be fixed at a fair price. I know who I am calling when I need someone to work on my deck, roof, or siding.

These guys where honest and professional not to mention high quality work. Great roofers
Awesome job! Everything matches up perfectly, and the finished siding looks way better than I was expecting. I mainly wanted to make sure everything was properly repaired so water couldn’t get behind it, but he also made it look fantastic. I couldn’t be happier with the work and will absolutely hire him again.
Excellent workmanship from start to finish! The contractor was professional, punctual, and communicated throughout the entire project. The new siding looks amazing, and the attention to detail exceeded my expectations. They left the work area clean and completed the job on time. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work and dependable service.
Nick was awesome. Went above and beyond to make sure the job was done fast & well. Professional, punctual and skilled. I’ll be using Absolute going forward for any of my exterior needs.
Nick was the first to respond to my Thumbtack inquiry, the first to show up, and the first to provide an estimate. The job was finished in one day (the next best quote estimated 2-3 days for completion). I noticed one small gap and Nick came out early the following day and fixed it. It hasn't rained yet, so the next weather event will be the first true test....I will try to update the review following some precipitation.
I have a home warranty, which includes, roofing repairs. So about 3-4 months ago. They sent out a smooth talking roofer. Well dressed, said everything was going to be alright. Did the work and off they went. Fast forward to last week. We had a massive thunderstorm, then several inches of snow. This is when I noticed my drywall above my fireplace was showing shadows right in front between ceiling and wall. So I monitored it for a few days thinking I missed these shadows and they were just left over from the warranty co. repair. Nope they started to form ever so slightly, until I knew, the old roof repair work must be faulty. Enter Nik with ABS. I looked up roof repair on Thumbtack and of course went with the roofer that had several rave reviews, which I carefully went through. Satisfied, I sent him a message and he not only messaged me back, but was close by and arrived that same day 15 minutes later. I explained everything to him, showed him the area above the fireplace, and he began to troubleshoot the roof immediately. I noticed he was reassuring, confident and knew what he was talking about. Something about Nik’s delivery put me at ease and after he cleared the snow off my deck he brought in a ladder and gave me a clear picture of what was wrong. Then he gave me a reasonable quote, scheduled to come out Monday. His previous visit was Friday, He came on-time ready to work and took several before pictures. I couldn’t believe the subpar, almost fraudulent work the other ‘roofer’ did. He spent several hours here, finding new issues and fixing them, but staying firm on his original quote. His after pictures made my day. Nik explained everything they did, then everything he did, like a roof doctor. I am one happy customer, and highly recommend him. He is extremely knowledgeable. He also quoted me on a new roof and his pricing is very, very reasonable. I’ve been around a long time, and used many contractors in the last 20+ years and this one is going on my short list. Thanks Nik! Really thank you.
If you're looking for shoddy craftsmanship and poor customer service, look no further. We contacted Nick and his team to perform some roof repairs and to replace a rotten ceiling above our front door. What we wanted was a seamless piece of material to cover our ceiling, what we received was 3 poorly attached pieces of corrugated steel sealed with a shoddy caulking job. We reached out to Nick indicating our displeasure and was told that he would happily replace the crap work they did with a PVC ceiling for the low, low price of $1,100.00 and that it is originally a $1,900.00 job but we were getting a discount due to us not liking the previous work. I would think a real businessman with customer satisfaction as the goal would do the work at a deep discount or free to correct their mistakes. Instead, we're left with this mess to replace by a true carpenter or roofer who knows what they're doing. My question to you as a consumer is; would you trust someone to do work on your roof where you can't see when they leave behind a job like this that is clearly visible?
I called on Nick to repair my roof after water damage. Some time elapsed between his original quote and when we actually settled on a scope of work because I was awaiting a verdict on the insurance claim filed on the damage. I negotiated a price with Nick, but the work received was misleading. He did great work on sealing my flat roof, but neglected to remove and replace damaged and mildewed wood slats underneath the roof sealant even though this was in his original quote. I appreciate and respect his willingness to discuss this confusion and miscommunication with me, and he apologized. But I’m supremely disappointed that it wasn’t resolved as I now have to spend even more money to fix what should have already been repaired. I think Nick does quality work, however beware that if you negotiate a lower price with him, he may neglect to share what will be omitted in order to meet your price—which is quite disingenuous and fraudulent.
