Sam was a pleasure to work with. He did a great job of understanding the scope of the project and was able to complete the project quickly for a fair price.

We had an excellent experience working with Sam for the project of finishing our basement. Sam came by for the estimate, saw the vision that we wanted to create and was willing and eager to work with us along the way to completion - always able to explain why he would be doing things a certain way or in a certain order. He only subcontracted out plastering and electrical, but was onsite for those days too. He was professional and got the work done on schedule. Our biggest concern of going through Thumbtack, as opposed to a reference from a personal friend, was whether we would get high quality work… we are happy to report that the finished product is even better than we had initially hoped for and it was a pleasure to work with Sam throughout the process! We would definitely work with Sam again for any future projects.

Sam is a total pro! He called ahead of time to discuss the project, was punctual, quick, and cleaned up after himself. I’m looking forward to having him back for more projects!

We worked with Sam for our bathroom remodel, and 10/10 recommend him! He is responsive, timely, and he’s great at what he does. The finished product turned out better than we could have imagined. We are already planning to work with him on another project.

Had an unusual project - an outdoor ramp for my elderly dog. Sam was super-responsive, came to the house to see the project needs, and completed the construction and delivered the ramp in just a few days. Communication was great, construction quality was excellent, and price was fair. Will definitely hire Sam again!

Sam was an incredible find and truly a gem. He is punctual, responsive, knowledgeable, and delivers exceptional work. His communication is excellent, and he is both trustworthy and reliable. Sam built a custom baby gate for us that not only matched the picture we provided but also blended seamlessly with our home, exceeding all expectations. It was such a relief to have someone understand and flawlessly execute a home project. I will definitely be recommending Sam to others and he’s now my go-to for all handyman projects. Thank you, Sam.

Sam and his crew at Ace Building and Remodeling exceeded my expectations. They were not the first to respond to my lead, but they were the only ones that wanted to come by my house to inspect what work was going to be done. This gave me extreme confidence in their quote, their professionalism, and the pride in their work. They completed their work within a week of my first contact and did all the major clean-up like they were never there. I will certainly be using Ace Building and Remodeling in the future.
