About Achillea Built
Honesty, clear communication, and attention to detail are the foundation of my work. I’ve been building and repairing homes for over 20 years, and I approach every project with the goal of doing the work carefully, efficiently, and with lasting results. I take time to understand what a client is trying to accomplish before starting work. That thoughtful approach helps minimize disruption, avoid unnecessary costs, and ensure the finished result is something you’ll be happy living with for years to come. As of 2026 I’m a solo owner-operator, which means the person you speak with is the same person doing the work on your project. I’m licensed, bonded and insured, and I take pride in maintaining a professional, respectful experience from the first conversation through completion. Through Achillea Built, I specialize in projects that are too complex for a typical handyman but too small to interest a large contractor. My work commonly includes: home repairs and maintenance, finish carpentry and trim work, door and window installation or repair, drywall repair and interior fixes, deck repair and exterior structures, fence repair and outdoor improvements, concrete and masonry work (pads, walkways, small slabs, repairs), small remodels and construction projects, and general handyman services and problem-solving repairs. Most of the projects I take on fall in the $2,500–$25,000 range, where careful workmanship and thoughtful planning matter more than speed alone. I am also capable of new construction, extensive renovations and additions, where hiring and managing subcontractors is involved. I have direct experience with both rural and urban new builds. If your project needs an experienced builder who will approach the work carefully and communicate clearly throughout the process, I’d be happy to take a look.

Great Guy, friendly and efficient. Very fair on his fees and came when he said he would even though I live an hour from town. Highly Recommend.
I was very pleased with Geoff’s work. He turned some door slabs into beautiful perfect swinging doors. He’s also good at finding solutions. I would use this contractor again. Thanks again, Geoff. Your contribution to my home’s remodel really shines.
When I moved into my home, my closet had drawer tracks with no drawers, which happened to be custom sized. I nearly purchased custom size drawers from an online drawer maker but when I saw the cost, I pivoted and ended up searching for someone who might be able to make and install the drawers locally. That’s when I found this app and Geoffrey. I’m so grateful I did, as I’m 100% sure I saved myself a major headache. For nearly the same cost as the drawers alone would have cost me had I ordered some online, they were built and then installed beautifully into my closet, with new, smooth, non slamming tracks, showing an attention to detail both aesthetically and functionally. How nice not to have drawers that slam when you didn’t even think to ask for that. Transparency and high quality standards also noted, there was an internal piece that cracked on install that I likely never would have noticed, and doesn’t seem to affect durability, but he showed me (also showing me how the drawers come in and out, so I now also know how to take them out and clean in the future) He also cleaned up the entire mess of the install, I’ve hired several contractors over the years and this was a first. Lastly, he has a kind, respectful, personable energy and I felt completely at ease with him working in my home.
Geoffrey did an excellent job, very thorough and thoughtful.
Fantastic job kept me informed throughout the whole process, we had two projects going at the same time and even with more damage found as he started was still able to complete the job on time. Quality, Professional & On Time what more could you ask for?
Jeffrey did an outstanding job from start to finish, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. He was incredibly responsive, easy to communicate with, and made having work done in my home feel completely stress-free. Super helpful and attentive to detail, he really went above and beyond, we highly recommend him!!
Geoffrey was great! He completed a complex installation of six outdoor lights that replaced existing fixtures. The boards to mount the new lights needed to be replaced with a slightly larger board, and his workmanship was exemplary. He primed and painted the new boards and installed the new fixtures with precision and perfection. I highly recommend him. He worked efficiently, ensured the installation was perfect, and the final bill ws very fair.
was so excited to see my new hose spigot installation when I arrived home it was better the i had imagined! im watering my garden now. Definitely hire this professional handy man. excellent work and value for price
Geoffrey was terrific. He arrived on time and began with walking the perimeter of the fenced yard and making repairs on my wire fence to restrict neighborhood dogs from easily entering our property and causing problems. Geoffrey thoughtfully planned his work time efficiently. For example, while emptying a hot tub and again filling it he spent time cleaning out rain gutters and assembling several home items, mounting my Dyson stick vacuum, attaching a new shower head to the existing hardware and moving some items for me that were too heavy for me to lift. Geoffrey was tidy and took care to remove various packing materials when he left. Additionally, Geoffrey was very knowledgeable, polite, professional and easy to work with. I would include photos but photos of wire fencing and rain gutters aren’t very easy to include. I would definitely recommend Geoffrey for many tasks and will definitely hire him again! I feel that I got a good value for all that he did.
