About AEM Coatings
Hello all, Thank you for viewing my profile and considering hiring my services! My name is Andres. I am located in NWI, serving that area and Chicagoland areas. I just started my company, AEM Coatings and Carpet Care, in December 2024. We specialize in tub, tile, and countertop refinising, and all things carpet related! Since my business is newer, I am on the hunt for good work and meeting good people! I have been doing refinishing work for 3 years and have been doing carpet work for the better part of 4 years. I have had many chances in the past to mess up, learn from my mistakes, and hone my skills. I was lucky to have had a manager in the past that let me find my way, and work out many of the flaws in my process, despite the many headaches i gave him when i was starting out, lol. I can now say and feel confident that it was all part of the journey to what i am starting now. In the past year and a half, I have found myself finally able to take pride in the work and services I provide. I am now at a place where i can stay calm when the job doesn't go as planned and troublshoot to make sure i am leaving every customer, a satisfied one! I am accountable, trustworthy, easy to work with, and someone who doesn't take shortcuts. I feel that my prices are reasonable for the services and quality that are being provided. I dont take the opportunity that customers give me for granted Again, I thank you for visiting my profile, and I appreciate your consideration. I look forward to working with some of you!

Great work. Andres came to our rescue when we tried to do a DIY whirlpool tub refinishing. He came same day. He even stripped the work we did ASAP and saved the day. Professional, thoughtful, responsive, would highly recommend! The whirlpool tub looks amazing, and it was raspberry colored before!
Nice person and did a great job on tub glazing highly recommend 👌 he was very informative as well.
Responded quickly for estimate. the quote was detailed, and my questions were answered to my satisfaction. He arrived in the window, he said. He explained again what he would be doing. Brought his equipment in carefully, as well as all his equipment was clean and he put on booties. As he was moving along in the job, he kept me informed on what he was doing in a friendly and personable way. When he was done, I looked everything over at it was beyond my expectations. The bathroom looked cleaner when he was done then when he began. I would highly recommend Andres, I have him coming back in the winter possibly for another job.
Andres did an awesome job. I needed to have my bathtub reglazed again because the previously hired company didn’t do a good job. After searching thumbtack I came across AEM. Andres reached out and his professionalism was impressive. Andres communicated with me and kept me abreast of each phase of the process. The end results were beyond my expectations. My tub looks brand new. After the job was completed, he gave a care package with instructions on how to care for the tub. His communication and professionalism are impeccable. I highly recommend him.
Andres was super responsive and reliable. He was the first to reach out when I posted my project, very informative, reliable, and on time. He also did a great job resurfacing my tub. I look forward to working with him again on future projects.
