Alex was fantastic! I had hit him up to see if he could help with my door. He was able to patch it up and it looks seemingly flawless. There were a few cracks initially that formed but he was kind enough to take time again to come out and fix it. The fix was performed and it looks absolutely flawless. I know my area was out of his way so I’m definitely appreciative of services and coming back out a second time.

I scheduled a door repair with Alex for 10:00 AM on July 10th. He arrived early at 9:50 AM, and I responded as soon as I saw his message. I immediately ran downstairs to meet him and help guide him to my unit if needed. I respect professionals who are punctual, but 10:00 AM was the agreed time, and I was on schedule. When I didn’t see him out back, I ran to the front. My neighbor informed me that a man had walked up, saw his two barking dogs, and left without saying a word. I still had time, so I waited outside to try and talk to Alex. I eventually saw someone park across the street, wave at me from a distance, and then drive off at exactly 10:02 AM, without ever attempting to speak to me directly, knock, or call. I assumed he was simply trying to find better parking. So I waited in the sun for nearly 10 minutes, sweating and unsure if I had just been ghosted. I even sent a follow-up message at 10:11 AM to ask if the person I waved to was him...still trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. It turns out that Alex left because he was startled by my neighbor's dogs, which I fully understand those dogs are an issue for me too. But instead of reaching out or asking for assistance, he just left. He had my number, knew I lived upstairs, and never even tried to resolve the confusion. For context: I clearly noted in our messages that I live in a shared rental unit, and the first person he might see might be a neighbor, not me. A quick text could’ve cleared that up. Instead, he gave up on the job entirely without a word. This was a total waste of my time. I had to restart the search for a more reliable pro. Thankfully, the next repairman I hired was more communicative, even with a language barrier, he still arrived on time, messaged me about the dogs, and we worked it out without issue. I also have photo proof of Alex driving away, as well as text messages confirming he didn’t follow up or try to complete the job. If You Still Choose to Hire Alex: Be aware he may arrive up to 30 minutes early and expect you to already be outside waiting. If your neighbors have dogs or you live in a shared property, communicate everything clearly in advance, because if there’s any confusion or he gets startled, he may leave without telling you.
Really happy with Alex’s work! He helped me repair a busted door frame and it looks like nothing happened at all. Very clean and good work. Definitely would recommend him to anyone needing help with a home project.
