Therapist came 25 min late to my son's therapy appointment. Offered to lower the fee by 25%. Then said he'd give us a "meditation" for $15. When I received it and played it, it was at most about 3-5 min long. I was fuming because we have bought meditation CDs for $15 and have about 30-40 min of meditation. Initially we wanted to go to an office of his close to where my son needed to be on a day when he had an afternoon free before an evening obligation. The person didn't want us to come that day and suggested a different day in a location further away than where we needed to be afterwards. We wound up being late to that appointment afterwards and my son was very upset. Interestingly when we initially spoke on the phone, the therapist suggested vitamins which he was conveniently selling - Shaklee (good products, but not something we needed or were looking for at that time). He mentioned it again during my son's session, and I had to again state that we had health and wellness already covered for my son. It wasn't even the money that makes me irate...but the time wasted on accommodating the person, Rather than the therapist trying to accommodate us as a new client/patient/customer, he was seemingly more interested in his own comfort and goings on than performing his arranged therapy with my son. I don't think we shall be going back.
