I hired Carlos to remove rock and level an area. I paid him in two payments for the job and he was supposed to finish it. It is 90% finished, but he has been paid. I also had him put in an irrigation system. He gave me an estimate and I was going to pay him more than the estimate. I’ve paid him 2/3, and that’s not done. He did not pick up his trash. He left it a mess. I don’t know what to make of his irrigation system. I had all the supplies purchased & he said none of them would work. I had to buy more. I spent another $500 more than I thought I would have to buying supplies. I gave him an additional $200 for supplies and have a receipt for $85 and most of the stuff needs to be returned. One zone is complete. There are four zones that are not complete so I don’t have a good irrigation system and I have pieces of irrigation hose all over. He was supposed to show up to paint a room and help with some posts to cover my garden area and he didn’t show up. He canceled Friday. He didn’t show up on Saturday and now I have 5 tons of crusherfine being delivered on Tuesday that he’s supposed to put down that he was charging an additional $600 for. All this was agreed upon. He doesnt answer my texts he refuses to answer my calls. The first couple of days were great, and then his attitude was different and just seemed off once I asked if he would take credit cards. I have quite a bit of work that he could’ve done at another house and he seemed interested, but once I asked about credit cards, it just got strange.

Carlos was on time. We are very happy with the work. The wind was havic that day. Except the turtles have tried escaping since the corner dirt is uneven. Nothing that rocks can’t cure.

Carlos was hired to clean a yard, trim 3 trees, which included removal of big branches and removal of a 8' tall Juniper tree including its stump removal. He and his crew were punctual and competed the big job in 2 days, as promised. I would definitely recommend his services.

Carlos was quick to respond to our needs, and was cheapest by far. He removed dead grass, rock and dirt and added sprinkler system, new soil and sod. He discovered problems with sprinkler install so we agreed to pay extra to get it done right. This was not his oversight. Anyone would have had the same issue. He was honest about sod when he initially went to pick it up. Vendor’s sod was bad, so we agreed to wait for another batch. Overall, we are very pleased with Carlos and would recommend him!

Carlos was right on time for both the estimate and the work. He did just what I’d asked. Trim 3 trees and remove one dead tree below grade so I could plant a shrub rose. When he finished, everything was picked up nicely. The yard looks great. Very pleased and I’d definitely hire him again.

Provided photos of vine removal needed. We agreed on a price. He missed the first appointment due to a "family emergency". Wasn't even going to let me know, I had to reach out to him to find out he wasn't coming. He came this morning, removed all the vines from the wall and left them blocking my sidewalk and back gate and text me saying he needs another $300 to get the job done. I can't even begin to describe how terrible this experience was with him. Now I have a mess and cannot access my backyard.

I would highly recommend him - he painted the interior of my home. I am writing a follow up review. Carlos Luis Alvidrez has been wonderful about the issues that have been addressed and even refunded monies. He is very kind and believes in God- there was a misunderstanding about the paint and that has been taken care of.

WARNING: Do Not Hire Alvidrez LLC Avoid hiring Carlos for any construction or repair work. Our experience demonstrates his dishonesty and unprofessional practices. In January, we contacted Carlos for a quote to repair our backyard brick wall. He initially appeared professional, provided a quote, and requested half the payment upfront. On the first day of work, he claimed the wall was beyond repair, requiring complete demolition and foundation replacement. He then presented a new quote, double the original amount. Due to the increased cost, we opted for a cedar fence instead. Carlos agreed, provided a revised quote, and requested an additional $3,000 for materials. Upon returning home, we discovered the fence posts were installed crooked. We immediately stopped the project and sought a second opinion. A qualified contractor assessed the situation and confirmed that the original wall did not need to be demolished and the foundation was sound. Carlos had misled us. When we cancelled the job and requested a refund of our down payment, Carlos ignored our requests. Despite not receiving any receipts, we paid for the labor and materials used up to that point. Carlos removed our perfectly good (repairable) wall, installed unusable fence posts (requiring removal and replacement), charged excessive fees without providing receipts, and ultimately kept over $5,000 while refusing to rectify the situation. Alvidrez LLC dishonest and exploited our lack of construction expertise. Do not make the same mistake – do not hire him.

Didn’t show up to finish the job after taking 1/2 the money and not doing 1/2 the work, and left my house a total mess. BEWARE!! DO NOT HIRE!!!
