He finished the job, sent pictures and always prompt. I would hire again -- Very professional, hard working.
Our company needed some finish painting to be done. Andy was courteous and professional. He worked very well w clear direction and little supervision. The quality of his work was excellent and was conscientious about keeping the work space clean. I appreciate the great job Andy did. I would use him again and recommend him for painting.
When he put our trim back on after replacing the carpet with a tongue and groove floor in he noticed the trim was showing white all the way around the room. He came back the next day and painted it for nothing. We will be having him work again.
Andy painted a small outbuilding for me. He did a superior job. The building looks like new. He made a point to get the kind of paint and color that I wanted. He cleaned up after himself and was prompt and pleasant to deal with. He even gave a senior discount. Great job.
10 day job turned into 45 days barely worked 3 hrs a day . Received 3500 dollar down payment . He then just vanished one fine day aster he kept given multiple excuses for daily issues . No response to phone calls texts work is left incomplete and now we are stranded . I don’t know if something happened to him but he just stopped showing up . Total disaster . I have lost trust thumbtack based referral anymore as I chose him based on his reviews on thumbtack
So I spoke with Andy on Thursday . I sent him pictures and a detailed message of all of the things I needed done he sent an estimate over for $1500 that included the labor and material needed to complete the job . He agreed to come that Saturday at 10/10:30 he never arrived until 11:30/12noon When he came we did another walk through of everything that needed to be done . He told us he couldn’t push our shower extender back ( so it was supposed to be took off the price ) he also told us we had a left swing door and needed a right swing ( so he couldn’t do it and it was supposed to be took off as well ) he also painted two new ( brand new )doors that was not in our agreement . He also was supposed to paint a wall on our basement stairs ( he didn’t do he just left the mud on there saying we didn’t agree to him painting it ) . We also asked him to put up our blinds and fixtures In bathroom he added extra holes didn’t fix just added the mud . He then sends over a $920 invoice . ( we paid $750 upfront ) so how do we owe $920 when half of what we agreed on in the $1500 price is not complete . He half did the doors so he then changes it to $250 owed instead of $920 since he didn’t do everything we agreed on . He sends it over and then comes back in the house and say are you going pay me or not …. We never gave any indication we were not paying we just wasn’t paying that price if everything agreed wasn’t done . We also expressed one of the fixtures he put on came off ( he just put it on today ) he proceeds to say f that shi t and tells us to keep our money and leaves .
He came and looked over the place, was a very nice young man. We have him the $100 estimate fee. He said he'd have the estimate to us in about 2 hours. It's been 2 days and there has been no contact from him. We decided to go with someone else.
It would be nice for Andy to actually respond to inquiries. I sent a message last week, he responds with “hello” and then nothing after that point.
Andy did a great job painting my vanity cabinets and he stands behind his work. Very professional and nice. Will use him again. My cabinets turned out beautiful!
