They need to vet their techs!!! The tech they sent out was incredibly condescending and dismissive. I let him know that I’d had a plumber out to look at the attic vent but that he didn’t bring a tall enough ladder to get into the attic but then didn’t come back (he had small kids involved in sports and this was a very small job). The tech got up into the attic and when he came down he bolt faced lied to me saying that the vent pipe was missing all together. He started to lose my trust at this point as I expected the licensed plumber would have mentioned that. He went on to quote me $2,200 to reattach a vertical PVC vent pipe to the external pipe. When I told him the plumber had quoted me a few hundred dollars he told me he was probably a scammer because the parts alone would be $650 - $700. I said for a couple of feet of PVC? He said, “oh, there’s many parts.” When I asked for a written estimate to compare with some others, he became very friendly - “like family”. Even though the thumbtack listing said free on site estimates, he wouldn’t leave until I wrote him a check for $79. His employers have been notified and their response is, “We’ll talk to the tech.” No further communication and I have not received a refund for the $79 I payed the shister. So the original plumber came back, inspected the plumbing and determined the issue was with the flashing. Said my plumbing is in great shape. The roofer came back, agreed and fixed it for free. For fun, I asked the plumber what it would have cost if the pipe had been missing. He said, “$220. $10 for the pipe and $200 for the drive to get it and install it.” Anytime Services is a scam company and should be reported. Frankly, I’m unlikely to use Thumbtack again knowing they aren’t doing a better job of vetting companies they recommend!

Set up an appointment on Monday for the next day. At 11pm, received a message that they would not be able to do the job. No other days or appointments were offered. Fairly disappointing.
For starters the first tech took all of 15 seconds on the initial "inspection" to decide all I needed was a cleaning. 2nd tech that came to do the cleaning, pointed out a small crack I should address in the future. However where my real issue lies is the $300 "cleaning" I received.... I had my suspicion about how this was going to go, so I set a timer when he started..... 8 total minutes to "clean" the entire chimney. Which had someone looked in it after he left that didnt know he had been there....you'd never of thought it'd ever been "cleaned".... & to charge such a rate for such poor service is sad!
Aviano cleaned my dryer and explained further what needs to be done. I really appreciated him coming out on a Sunday, great service!
Fireplaces cleaning
Highly recommend! I have a very difficult chimney to access. I asked for an estimate but went wirh a same day full repair and cleaning. Super nice and professional.
The technician (Aviana sp?) was extremely knowledgeable and proficient. He provided multiple options for me to choose as to the best scenarios and also gave me a probability or assuredness of what the likelihood of each one of these probabilities would be successful!! He demonstrated his capabilities readily. I would gladly refer Aviano with respect to any ductwork or venting project.
Just an FYI, this company operates under two different names Fireplace Pro & Anytime. They are sister companies, so not a competitive bid. The 1st tech was polite informative & gave me a bid to consider. The 2nd Tech who came to my house really tried to hard sell me. Told me he owned whole company & that 1st tech worked for him. He was dismissive, disrespectful & frankly more than a little sketchy. No way he was going to earn my business.
Honestly the worker was great I not going lie I really wish there was a easier way to got my house knob door open but least I got in even if I do have to pay more for another knob. I appreciated the discount as well considering my finances at moment.
Showed $29 service call on thumbtack page to be waved if took their service. I believe the quote to fix the door lock was too high, so I told him to put the old lock back on and I would pay for the service call fee and go with another company. The technician then charged me $135 for the service call fee verses the $29 stating it was due to coming out on a Sunday. That was never mentioned prior to working on door lock.
Very friendly, they perform quality work and in a timely manner. However there is a language barrier that gets in the way. I’ve asked 3 times for a specific document and still haven’t received it
