Reviews
Tim was great! Very professional and considerate - he asked me ahead of time whether my floors were hardwood so that he could bring a blanket to protect them while putting my furniture together. He also hauled away all the trash and packaging once he finished . . . and he got along with my cat :-)
Great work
Timothy was very kind and polite. His quality of work is spot on. Quick and very efficient.
Great to work with, Tim made sure everything was exactly what we expected. Was very thorough and precise with his work. Looking forward to working with him on future projects.
Thankful for the makeover my shower floor received (new grout) as well as the fresh caulking in my kitchen and bathrooms and a loose transition piece in a doorway secured. Timothy is a hard worker and will work until the job is done right.
Responded to inquiry quickly. Arrived promptly, ready to work. Worked quickly & was willing to do small jobs. Price was more than reasonable. Thanks, Tim!
Timmy Rondeaux, Artefex Construction's owner, made a wonderful first impression both through his communication and in person meeting. He came out to our home and appeared to be very professional, friendly and attentive. He was super quick with his communication and quoted us $45/hour to hang our exterior string lights. He spent 90 minutes at our property measuring and going over all of the details. He managed to get us scheduled for 48 hours later, which was also a huge plus for us, as we are on a tight schedule. 24 hours later, one day before work was to begin, he informs us he needs a worker and that the rate will go up by 33% for an additional $15/hour. We explained that did not seem fair to us and asked him to honor his original quote. He bowed out. 2 footnotes...we probably would have tipped him $50 if the job ran 3 or 4 hours. It's just the way we were raised. Also, we told him we were looking to replace our less-than-reliable handyman and since this is 2 AirBnB's and we live across the country, he was sure to be in high demand with a 120 year old home. We own small businesses that are quote based, we would NEVER have handled this situation in this manner. Thoroughly disappointing after such a promising start.
Timmy is the total package. Very nice, decent, honest guy. I felt comfortable with him around my family. And he does fantastic work. I'm so thankful to have found him. He updated our chicken run to make it more predator proof. He also cut up a downed tree for us.
