After taking my computer out of my home, to do further diagnostics, I was told that I needed $850 worth of repairs and new equipment for my gaming PC. I asked for the computer back and opted to not get it repaired by them. It was difficult to get it back, as I needed to wait for it to be delivered back to me since there's no store front to go pick it up. I brought it to a friend who was able to see that I DID NOT need a new motherboard and CPU and got it back up and running quite easily. It also needed to basically be rebuilt as it was delivered back to me in "pieces" and not put back together as they received it. I do not recommend this company.

I had an amazing experience! I know NOTHING about computers, so I had him set up my two kids' computers, make repairs, and set up mine after a move. He not only got everything set up but also did magic stuff to make them safer security-wise. He was very friendly and professional, and I enjoyed having him in my home. If/when I need more computer stuff done, I am definitely hiring him again!
Within seconds of my request I received a phone call from, explained my situation and was given an appointment for later that afternoon. Mr. Alan went out of his way to satisfy my needs, run back and forth to his warehouse, get the equipment and install all in one evening. Didn’t rush or complain even though it was late. And actually came back next day to help out with another issue I could not figure out on my own. Knowledgeable, friendly, professional and responsive. Couldn’t ask for more.

Atomic Geeks lists $149 per hour. Shortly after William arrived, he said $175 per hour, 2 hour minimum. I advise to ask this group the asking fee before a tech comes so you know what to expect. It was a 2 hour, apparently complex job. William contacted me soon after the posted review. He stated that their business is connected to a number of sites. He didn't recall the Thumbtack fee at the time. He reported that "It can be a daunting task to keep who came from where straight." Today, 9-18-2024, I received a refund of $52, consistent with Atomic Geeks' posted fee of $149/hr on Thumbtack.
We have been living with spotty wifi for 2 years. There are portions of our home that we completely gave up on. However, with me and my husband both working from home and needing stable internet for video calls we finally had enough. We invested in a mesh router network. The mesh router seemed as spotty as the service without so I finally called Atomic Geeks and within an hour he was able to diagnose the issue and then was able to resolve the key issue with our mesh router setup. It’s been a week so far and we have full coverage throughout our entire home. We could not be happier. I would recommend Atomic Geeks.

I submitted for this project at 5:30pm on Thursday afternoon, William contacted me within minutes and arrived at my location within an hour to help me with my issue! He was very professional and friendly, got my issue resolved within a couple hours. I had a follow up issue today (Saturday) and William answered immediately, remoted in and walked me through the problem, which turned out to not be a problem but my lack of knowledge, he gladly helped me and was again very professional and friendly with me. Mr. Allen was great. We had a Wi-Fi problem. He came the same day to assess our needs and did the work the very next day. Everything he installed is working perfectly so far. A totally satisfying experience.
William to the time to get to our home quickly and help me troubleshoot, reboot, reconfigure and ultimately redo our whole mesh system until it was running again. Huge help!
1 week repair for a laptop CPU fan (originally) became a 2+ month affair in which both fans were supposedly replaced but the GPU fan no longer runs at all after all this time (although I was told it was replaced as well). Had to call them multiple times for updates when things took longer than expected. Tried to be patient and understanding but will not be requesting their services again. Very disappointed.
Identified my problem in time. Thorough work thru and I was back up and running in just a short time. Happy happy happy!
