Our experience with this moving company was extremely disappointing. The original quote was for three movers at $179 per hour, with an estimated 14–16 hours, including drive time. After the owner visited our home to assess the job, I asked whether there was a cash discount. He explained that the cash rate would be $139 per hour for two movers. Since he had seen what we needed to move, we agreed to the two-person crew, trusting his assessment that they could manage the job. The movers arrived at 10:30 a.m., an hour and a half late due to traffic. By 9:00 p.m., they had run out of room in the truck, leaving some of our belongings behind. The following day, we had to rent a truck and spend another eight hours packing and moving the remaining items ourselves. The unloading was equally disappointing. The crew rushed through the process, dumping boxes into the garage as quickly as possible. Our belongings were not handled with the care we expected, and the unloading was not completed until 1:00 a.m. We had the cash amount originally quoted and were prepared to discuss a reasonable compromise for the additional time. However, when I offered to pay an additional amount through Venmo, the mover refused and left. What should have been a professionally managed move turned into an exhausting, two-day ordeal, resulting in additional expense, considerable physical work, and unnecessary stress. We specifically requested an in-person assessment so the company could determine the appropriate crew and equipment for the job. Unfortunately, despite that assessment, the truck was inadequate, and we were left to finish the move ourselves. Based on our experience, we would not recommend this company.
