Alex was amazing to work with, as was his crew. We had AZA renovate our master bathroom and kitchen. Alex provided great communication about the project and was always available to answer questions - including providing samples of countertops, etc. to help us make decisions. Workers were always on time and were meticulous in their work. They left the site clean every day and the price for the work was fair. They went above and beyond in ensuring that we were happy with the finished product. I'd definitely use them again.

We couldn’t be happier with our kitchen renovation and our experience working with Alex and his team. From day one, Alex had his team organized and the entire project moved incredibly efficiently. The demo, electrical, plumbing, popcorn removal, and painting were all completed so quickly, which made a huge difference since we were living in the house throughout the renovation. One thing that really stood out to us was that Alex honored his original quote even when unexpected things came up that inevitably increased his costs, such as needing two slabs of quartz instead of one. We really appreciated his integrity and commitment to standing by what he had quoted us. The overall scope of the renovation was amazing. Alex’s vision for the space was spot on, and we truly feel like we’re living in a completely different house. The quality of the work is top notch, and the finished kitchen is even better than we imagined. Alex was incredibly responsive throughout the entire process and was always on top of anything that came up. He was a pleasure to work with, and we would highly recommend Alex and his team to anyone considering a renovation. We are so thankful for the beautiful space they created for our family!
We initially hired Aleks to help us design and improve our fireplace and mantle. We observed their workmanship and attention to detail. The final project was exceptional. We ended up hiring them for a few more smaller jobs around the house. Couldn’t have been more happy with their work. Aleks has excellent communication and it was so easy to work with him. Would highly recommend for any job you have.
Alex and his team are absolutely amazing! I had a backsplash installed, tile installed in the shower, custom cabinetry created for the kitchen, top cabinets painted, custom built in for the TV and wall unit built, electrical work, and light fixtures changed so much to list. Everything came out absolutely! Alex is awesome super responsive! Trust me I’m not an easy client to please and I couldn’t be happier with everything!!
I highly recommend AZA Builders. They just completed a bathroom remodel for us in Piedmont. Like many people, most of my experiences with contractors have left something to be desired, but Alex and his team exceeded expectations. Their work was high quality, even down to the most minute aspects. I appreciated the attention to detail and even the efforts they took to clean up after the work was complete. They seem to really care about getting the job done right. There was good communication and they were very easy to work with. I am moving out of state for a two-year work deployment, but I'll be giving Alex and team a call to service my next house when we return to the Upstate. Five stars.
Alex and his crew handled a very difficult situation for us after Hurricane Helene. They removed 2 large trees from our sunroom (our favorite room in the house) They demolished and rebuilt a custom sunroom that is absolutely gorgeous. Every person in the crew were kind, respectful and professional and they did top notch work. Thank you Alex!!
Alex and his crew did a great job on my complete bathroom remodel, would definitely recommend him for next job, great to work with such a professional!
Great exp throughout the entire project, alex did more than we discussed, and at a higher quality than expected, and completed it on time. Communication was easy and he was good about keeping me posted on what each week of progress was going to look like. Highly recommend!
Alex is a fantastic craftsman. We enjoyed working with him. He is dependable and trustworthy and we plan on hiring him for more projects. We stripped our master bath to the studs and completely renovated it. We are so happy with the way it turned out. It feels like a spa in our house!! Alex checked over all of the work himself and is a perfectionist. He didn’t miss a single detail. He helped guide us through decisions around designs and made sure we knew what the final result would be. He also got creative and came up with some great ideas (like the hidden drain in the shower floor) that we would never have known were possible. Alex is great. If you have a renovation project, give him a chance. It’s well worth it.
I couldn't have found a better builder. I originally chose Alex because of his price point but he's went above and beyond every step of the way to make sure I understood everything going on with my build every step of the way. There was a couple things I didn't like about my build plans we'd purchased from a national company. Alex help us come up with solutions that we loved. He truly wants his customers to be happy and you can tell it. I've already recommended him to others and I'll keep recommending him to anyone looking for a builder for a complete build like mine or a small remodel. He is the best I've ever seen. I'll update photos every week
