It was a good experience working with B&J for first time. Being an investor it was important for me to work with an investor friendly company and B&J checks all the boxes. Benjamin was very responsive and started the work as mentioned on time and with no excuses. Looking forward to give more biz to them.
He did a good job on sloping part of the driveway but we ended up with several problems. Main problem is that driveway is not sloped properly, so water is flowing towards the house and ending up in the basement. I had paid extra for sprucing up the pavers at the end of driveway but he created patchwork of tar and pavers. Did not power wash pavers that I had paid extra for - instead they were more dirty than before. One year warranty is useless because he didn't even come back after two weeks. I wouldn't recommend him or call him again for more work.
This company came to our property and a price was agreed upon and date to get the job done was set! But they were a no show. He cancelled the date three times and when we called to confirm the final date to get the work done— they did not answer our calls! So basically no communication to say we cannot do the job anymore or give us a solid date. They kept us hanging and set our project back over a week! Absolutely no professionalism and integrity.
I can't say enough about B&J asphalt! Phenomenal job, professional, accurate and punctual. Did exactly what I requested. In and out of the neighborhood in 1 day cleaned the jobsite after. Great bunch of friendly guys.
Ben from B and J Asphalt responded promptly to our Thumbtack request for estimate to fix our driveway. We had several cracks and potholes. He gave a great price and we were able to get it scheduled very quickly. Ben and his crew arrived on time, were professional and courteous. The whole crew worked hard to fix the driveway with new layer of asphalt and then a few weeks later we also had them seal the driveway. We are very happy with the results.
I requested extending my driveway and these folks were very accommodative and friendly. Very good finishing. The space between my fence and garden borders were done very neat and precise. Will definitely recommend.
They did a nice job kept me informed of the schedule due to weather I originally brought them in to give estimate on seal coating. They suggested an overlay, which is what we finally agreed to. Extremely happy with the outcome
Got a quote for a whole bunch of money from a local company. Came onto thumbtack and put out a RFP. B&J came back quickly with a proposal that met our budget and timeline and worked with us and the county to ensure all permits were received and work was completed in a satisfactory manner. They brought their crew out, did the work as advertised and were gone, total down time for our driveway was about two days. A year later the work is still holding up and we are extremely pleased with the work.
I choose this company because the ratings were high. I waited over two weeks to write a review to have a solid review. There was no rain and we didn't drive in the driveway until after 10 days. The cracks that I paid to have filled are cracking apart. I was told that this could happen due to the nature of the cracks.
