Working with Dmitri was great. Had several companies come out to estimate a deck rebuild and he provided great insight, focusing on safety and quality work. He communicated along the way so I could be actively engaged in the process, understanding and making decisions to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. Other companies offered “all in” pricing while Dmitri provided a starting point and complete, up-front transparency that we’d likely run into issues and we’d work through it together. I preferred this approach and ultimately believe I got a higher quality output for less than the others. Before and after picks—changing from lumber to Trex.

I had a very old deck with rotting joists, it took me a long time as I was shopping around for quotes to find someone who could repair it within my budget. I was very lucky to find Dmitry, who went above and beyond to achieve a high quality long lasting result while keeping the cost of the work and materials to a minimum. He replaced some of the joists, strengthened others, applied a solution to prevent any future rotting, replaced the floor, waterproofed it, replaced perimeter boards, and even added extra drainage to make sure the water drains fast. Throughout the work new issues kept getting uncovered (as is the case with old houses), Dmitry handled all of them, and made sure we’re on the same page every step of the way. After the project was done he kept in touch, checking in to make sure there are no issues after heavy rains, etc. Never met anyone with more diligence and professionalism than Dmitry, someone who cares this much about the work they do. Will absolutely be hiring him again for future projects, cause I know my house is in good hands 👍
He came very quickly and let us know he could start the job in a reasonable time. We liked him
I am very please with the new rails and the minor fixes done on my porch. Very knowledgeable and cost effective. Will definitely use again in the future.
I can say enough nice things about this repair. He couldn’t be nicer, the price was very fair, the quality is excellent and we are very satisfied with the work. You will be too.
Very diligent, contentious, and thorough in his work. Good problem solver who walks you through all options.
Dmitry absolutely revamped our entire deck (and so quickly!). He was punctual, worked fast, and had great craftsmanship. Our deck was falling apart and he was able to fix it within 3 days. He truly did a phenomenal job and we are so thankful for him making our deck safe! 10/10 highly recommended.
Dmitry is fantastic. He is resourceful and very professional.
Dimitri was an incredible professional to work with. We had a deck with a good amount of old issues and he was super easy to work with to figure out what we needed. He explained things thoroughly while making sure we didn’t need to invest in anything that was necessary. Overall his work is amazing and our deck looks incredible. And to top it off, he did it all within a week so he is incredibly efficient and very responsive. I would highly recommend Dimitri and black diamond to any of my friends or family because of the quality, knowledge, and efficiency Dimitri provides! I’ll definelty be calling again if I need anything else they provide!
Dmitry every step of the way provided details and explanations as the project moved along. He was efficient, professional, knowledgeable, detail oriented and hardworking! We had a challenging project and he did an amazing job and was always cognizant of our budget! I would highly recommend Black Diamond Express and we plan to have them back to do other work for us later! Thanks so much Dmitry!
