BAB construction did a fabulous job renovating my shower. They were quick to respond to my initial inquiry and communicated throughout helping me choose great products. I asked a billion questions and they answered them all! Some complications arose (not their fault, totally separate house issue) and they helped me stay calm and work around it/through it with ease. What I loved about them most was how kind, respectful, and clean the crew was. Would recommend!!!
Tamir is a hard worker which I appreciated. He stepped in when I needed my job done in between Airbnb guests and he also replaced my first hire who wasn't able to fulfill the contract. I appreciated that. What I didn't appreciate was when I asked him to come back for a walk through and fix some minor repairs of paint splatter, adjusting the shower door and a couple of other items, he showed up and was super rude to me, telling me that he could see why I was single (I'm not) and didn't have any children and complained about how he didn't make enough money from my job. Needless to say, I asked him to leave as I didn't feel safe with him in my house as he was clearly unhinged. I paid him every time he asked for money so his anger came out of the blue. He never finished the job and Thumbtack refunded me for the contractor I had to hire in his place. Very dissapointing.
Tamir is great. We needed work done right away and he fit us into his busy schedule. He completed a tricky rough in for our walk in shower and set the shower pan. Would have hired him for the tile but needed that work done before his schedule would permit. We will definitely hire him for any future work.
I recently had my bathroom renovated, and I'm very happy with the results. Despite never having worked with Concretta FS, a natural cement and limestone decorative plaster, before, Tamir did an impressive job. The team's willingness to learn and adapt to new materials was commendable, and it shows in the quality of his work. Tamir made sure I was satisfied with the renovation, even checking in later on to ensure everything was up to my standards. Overall, I'm very satisfied with how the bathroom turned out and would recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled and adaptable renovator.
The one star is for the men who came into my home and completed the work that was done. I was really looking forward to leaving a glowing review for Ken and his company - until he completely ghosted me. I honestly hope you’re ok, Ken. Communication was a struggle throughout the project - often making last minute plans after I had to repeatedly ask when they could come over for the next step. One time, after they had to cancel on us earlier in the week, they just showed up one day completely unplanned while we were packing to leave for a trip. We tried to be as flexible with them as they were being with us, but it was frustrating to have to constantly ask when the next step would be. We needed to take the project one step at a time to pay as we went. We really appreciated that. We got as far as the tile being completed and that’s it. Ken stopped responding to me. I’ve been left with wall repairs, painting, sink plumbing, replacing outlets and switches, lighting, caulking, redoing grout that is coming up, putting closet doors, trim, and transitions in, even the shower hardware was never installed so I had buy it and install it myself. I’m incredibly disappointed after spending the last two weekends trying to finish the bathroom myself. I guess he didn’t take any money without doing the work - but there were repairs that were necessary because of his work that I’ve had to do myself. And leaving a customer with a half done bathroom is just atrocious. Who does that? I hope someone reads this and learns from my mistake. Maybe he didn’t like how long the project was taking, but once again - if communication existed at all, I’m sure we could have avoided this whole thing. If you hire Ken, maybe try and have them do it all in one day so there’s no chance of him ghosting you.

Had a great experience with BAB construction! I had mold growing in my sunroom and they were able to clean it out as well as rebuild the wall and texture to match what was already there. They were the cheapest quote I received and were able to schedule me quickly.
We had fantastic experience with Tamir and his team. They remodeled 2 bathrooms and did some additional handyman type of work in our condo. He has gone above and beyond with helping resolve some plumbing issues; communication was smooth and the quality of work was excellent. We highly recommend them!
We hired BAB construction to remodel our shower. Tamir and Zhu did a great job removing the old shower, installing the tile, shower fixtures and door. We are very happy with how it turned out!
