I contacted Bang it out and asked if they could pick up a piece of furniture I bought today I told them the hours of the store. They called the store and were able to pick up piece and delivered it today. Very considerate , professional and kept me updated. l highly recommend them.

Sean and team assembled this very large media/entertainment console with lots of drawers, shelves, and doors. They were polite and friendly and took the time to adjust all the hinges at the end so that everything lined up correctly when they were done. At one point, they noticed an issue with the build and reworked the relevant section to ensure that it was correct. There was some delay due to their previous job's overhang and rush-hour traffic but they were upfront about it and arrived according to their updated timeline which was fine. Overall, I would work with BuiltBySean again.

I arranged delivery of an item after being advised that a pickup truck would be required. I provided details about the stairs and distance in advance, and we agreed to $200 for a two-person job. The delivery was originally planned for Thursday, but the item had not arrived, so we tentatively moved it to Sunday afternoon with the understanding that I would confirm once it became available. When I let him know Friday morning that it had arrived, he preferred to complete the job that evening, and I agreed. Only after he was already on his way to the store for my order did he tell me that the agreed-upon second person was not with him and begin asking what assistance I could provide. I offered to keep the Sunday plan so he could have a partner, but he preferred to proceed Friday. When he arrived with my item, he mentioned that a store employee had dropped it on his foot during pickup. Although he said the injury was not serious, it raised a safety concern, particularly because he was wearing open-toed shoes for a lifting and moving job. I paid the full agreed-upon amount, but I had to help carry the item up three flights of stairs and provided a significant portion of the labor myself. At the conclusion of the job, I mentioned that I had understood the quote to include two people and asked whether the difference in labor would be addressed. His response was to joke that he did not have to split the payment. The job took about one hour, making the agreed price double the posted hourly rate. This was my first experience using Thumbtack, and based on it, I do not foresee using the platform again.

They also took extra time to make sure they had a clear path & the right location where all of the items would be installed or placed. Sean is fantastic. He installed 2 window AC units while dealing with some old and complicated windows. When I forgot to supply a needed material, Sean went right away to a local store to pick it up.
