For over 20 years, I’ve helped people of all ages overcome their fear of the water through patient, one-on-one private swim lessons. I truly enjoy teaching and watching students grow more confident with every session. Seeing a nervous beginner relax, learn new skills, and finally smile with pride is the most rewarding part of what I do. My lessons are calm, encouraging, and paced to match your comfort level, so you never feel rushed or judged. Barbara has only worked with our 3.5-year-old daughter, Aanya, for one class so far, and we were genuinely impressed by the difference we saw right away. Barbara is awesome!! She is very knowledgeable and thorough! I love her technique and her cute way/words she uses to get young children to use proper form. My granddaughter loves swimming with her and asks every day if she can have another swim lesson!!!

Barbara was an excellent teacher, however, she was totally unreliable. We arranged a time for daily lessons and she only came once at the agreed upon time. She had different excuses each time we spoke and finally stopped coming altogether after only 3 lessons. I would not recommend her if reliability and consistency is important to you.
Barbara is an awesome swim instructor! She has an excellent background as elementary teacher and swim instructor. My 3 grandchildren ages 5 7 and 8 made a lot of progress even in one lesson. We have so far taken three lessons. She had many fun games and techniques and kept them swimming and interested the whole hour. I highly recommend Barbara.
Barbara was great. My kids really enjoyed lessons with her. She connected with them well. Pool was always super warm too!
Barbara is absolutely the best - seriously if you are looking to hire a swim instructor, look no further. Our two kids (4 and 6) absolutely love her... neither swam when we started and both are now fully comfortable in the water. Highly recommend her for adults or kids of any age and experience.

I wanted to learn to swim in my own pool. Always been afraid of the water. I have had many instructors but wanted a one on one. Barbara was excellent. I even got my face in the water first time in yrs. She was caring, pleasant and patient. I'm looking forward to my next lesson.
