Carlos and Krystian, came over to explain the entire process and walk me through my options. They also gave unique suggestions, like adding a solar fan, which was needed since the Florida weather had been making my upstairs attic and floor super hot. Within the next few days, they worked with me as I chose the color, requested the necessary documents for the HOA, and finalized scheduling. Today, they completed the job and shared the drone photos. My wife and I are both very impressed. The roof looks brand new, and we love the onyx color. I highly recommend working with Barrier Builders. Avoid Barrier Builders at all costs. I booked them to perform a roof repair on my home, but their level of communication and basic preparedness was a total joke. Complete Lack of Basic Equipment: Their crew was without the proper ladder for a standard two-story roof. They literally had to scramble to "find" a ladder, and I ended up having to offer to lend them my neighbor's ladder just so they could attempt to do the job they were hired for. Terrible Communication & Flaking: Someone from their company visited the property in the evening and explicitly confirmed that a team would be there to complete the fix the next day. My tenant waited at the property all morning, but nobody showed up or communicated the delay. Ghosting Customers: When I followed up to ask when someone would actually be coming to complete the job, they stopped responding entirely from 3pm that day to 3pm next day. If a roofing company doesn't even have the proper tools to reach a roof and ghosts customers, they shouldn't be in business. Save yourself the headache and hire a real professional.
