I had an amazing experience with Chris, who organized everything, and Matt, our bartender! Chris was incredibly communicative and made sure the bar was perfectly set up for my 30th birthday. I had 35 girlfriends at the party, and Matt absolutely crushed it – his drinks were incredible, and he was so professional, friendly, and fun. I hired this server for a Christmas Eve dinner, but unfortunately, my plans changed when my grandmother, at the age of 103, suddenly passed away a week before the event. I notified him immediately about the situation, and while he was understanding, my experience left me feeling conflicted. I had made a deposit when I booked, and after canceling, I kindly asked for it to be refunded. However, he refused, which was disappointing since we had no signed contract in place. I had requested a contract when we booked, but I never received one. Without it, I feel like I essentially sent him money for nothing. This is a reminder to always get a signed agreement before sending any payments. Additionally, when I asked for references prior to booking, he seemed hesitant to provide them, which felt odd. As a business owner myself, I know how important it is to be transparent and readily share references with potential clients. Overall, I can’t recommend or not recommend this person since we didn’t get to work together, but my experience was not ideal.
Chris truly exceeded all expectations! From the moment we began planning our event, his responsiveness and understanding of our needs were unparalleled. During the party, his presence added an extra layer of magic, making the day truly unforgettable. Chris’s thoughtful demeanor and impeccable attitude shone through from start to finish. He truly went above and beyond - the venue’s sound system was behind the bar, so he even helped manage the volume throughout the event and even jumped in to help with last-minute table settings. Our bartender was Chris he was AMAZING! He was responsive to all my calls and text. I gave him a list of different cocktails I wanted to serve and he sent me an itemized shopping list. He was on time and wonderful with guest. I had several guest calling me to compliment how great he was. He is personable and fun. One even booked her next event on the spot. He really made my event epic. 100% RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! Your guest will be impressed. They were responsibly priced as well . I was able to use my own table whitch worked well but I might use their pop up bar next time. I will be using again for sure. Thanks Chris!
