Searching for a decorator can be intimidating, but Georgia made me feel comfortable from day one. She really listened to how we live and what we value, ensuring that our home isn't just a showroom, but a comfortable, functional space for our family. Every piece feels hand-selected for our lifestyle. We’ve received endless compliments from guests, but more importantly, we finally feel truly at home. Thank you Georgia, we love our new home!

About Bates Interiors
With over 28 years as a professional interior designer, I’ve completed many award‑winning projects across the Valley. Design is my true love, and each project receives the same care and attention—whether it’s a single room refresh or a full home transformation. Your design will be tailored specifically to your needs, lifestyle, and budget. No two projects should look alike: every space I create reflects the personality and taste of the client and their family. My work has been featured on the cover of Phoenix Home & Garden multiple times, on HGTV, and in other publications and books. I listen closely, help clarify your “end vision,” and focus on delivering a high-end look at a budget-conscious price. If you’re ready to create a space you’re proud to live in, I’d love to talk.

My request of Georgia was to transform my home into a Japanese design and bring the outdoors into my home - meaning nature such as trees. What I will say is I love where my home is, we are still in the process but she has introduced designs I would never have been able to come up with. The lights that are being added are beautiful!! My bedroom looks more beautiful than I expected. The tile for the kitchen is amazing!! I would hire Georgia!!!
We worked with Georgia on creating a new layout for our primary bedroom, bathroom, and laundry room. We are doing an interior remodel without adding square footage and are instead reconfiguring the area we already have. It was too daunting for us to figure out on our own, and Georgia was so helpful and worked with us on the designs, plus with her added expertise, she created a functional and well designed layout. She was able to use her CAD software to get exact dimensions and heights and now we are prepared for the next step of the project. We enjoyed working with her and will continue working with her once we take the next steps!
Wow! When Georgia was done with my home, it felt like I had been upgraded to a level of beauty and sophistication I'd never had before. She quickly worked within my budget to produce spectacular results. She has amazing ideas and could not have been easier to work with. I can't recommend her enough!!
Georgia did the job that 3 other Scottsdale Designer could not do, Listen to the client, How they want their home to look like, and their budget to complete the project. This was a 800K design project that others failed, she did a great job. Many designs fail to understand that it's your home, your money and you have to look at what they did every day. Georgia will be doing my next project. You are happy to contact me through Georgia for any questions you have.
It is an absolute pleasure to work with Georgia. Not only is she a skilled designer, but she also has a warm and engaging personality. Although my project is a small one, she has been responsive to every communication and has made herself available to meet with me and to answer my questions. I would definitely recommend her.
Georgia is amazing. Very punctual in her response and amazing eye for design. Highly recommend her!
As single working mother, I decided I needed to hire a designer to help me with my master bedroom. Georgia was the best decision I could have made. Not only is she extremely talented but also defines the word of professionalism. My bedroom is now a sanctuary I look forward to coming home too. I will definitely use her again and strongly recommend her to anyone needing a interior designer! N. Van Buhler
Georgia has helped us design our first remodel and has been instrumental in putting all the pieces together thus far. We are turning our 1980’s McCormick Ranch home into an updated space that works for our young family. She has made the process so easy and we are just days away from starting demo! Our contractors are so pleased with all the work Georgia has done and can’t believe the value it’s brought to our project. With an eye for design and so many resources in the Scottsdale area we know we made the best choice selecting her! Thank you Georgia, we can’t wait to see our project become a reality!
I live in another country and very quickly could see that Georgia was a Professional and very capable of getting the job done totally unsupervised with little effort on my part. She has delivered a finished product at magazine quality. I would not hesitate to recommend the Georgia Bates to others and would use her services again in the future. Thank you for a hassle free experience Georgia. Michael
