I found Bay Area Tech Hero while searching for a network specialist to install Ethernet wired backhaul in our older (1950s–60s) home that had been renovated but still lacked proper networking. Since they seem to handle a lot of corporate-scale installations, I initially wondered if my project might be too small—but that concern disappeared pretty quickly. The team was already very familiar with Ubiquiti systems and was incredibly patient working with me despite my fairly basic understanding. They walked me through the tradeoffs and ultimately recommended stepping up from mid-range equipment to more professional-grade options. The reasoning was clear, the cost/benefit made sense, and at no point did I feel pressured—just well-advised. The actual Ethernet installation work was top-notch—smurf tubing, recessed (not sticking out!) enclosures, and everything. The level of craftsmanship and attention to detail is honestly beyond what I would normally expect (or even feel comfortable demanding from contractors). They went above and beyond without being asked, and the cable organization is immaculate. Huge thanks to Justin and John for their precision and quality of work, and to Jim and Rodrigo for their thoughtful recommendations on equipment and access point placement. A ZOOM call with Ari about problems I was having quickly led to my scheduling an appointment with Chris Buffalino, who restored my internet and WI FI connection and diagnosed problems that Xfinity needed to address. We called Xfinity, described the problems, and made an appointment. Chris is a remarkable tech support, kind, respectful, and skilled.
John was approachable and knowledgeable with the questions I had. My wifi is so much better and extends to all areas I need.
Everything about Bay Area Tech Hero was terrific. It started with a sales call that was not sales-y. Ari helped me understand the main issue and options. Told me how I could do this on my own and didn't push for a sale. But I'm really glad I went with the better, professional solution. They completed solved the issue of poor Wifi in our old Victorian flat beyond what I thought was possible and they made it look great. And the total bill was less than the estimate. Communication was timely and friendly. The technician was great. Across the board, we are very happy with their work and highly recommend.

They gave me a quite of 4500$ for 4 ethernet drops in a home with both attic and crawlspace access. Felt like they are in the business of exploiting rich and technologically challenged people. They probably upsell routers, APs, and set them up for old people for outrageous amount of money.
Overall great experience with Tech Heros. They helped modernize my network setup in my home, by installing a central access point and running a few hardware lines throughout the house. Wifi is super consistent across the house now. They were responsive throughout the process and talked through different options and layouts for the wiring. They made sure they left the house in a clean state too. Thanks guys!
Ari and his team were wonderful to work with. They were very responsive to my network layout/design questions over email leading up to the install date. WOW! Ari was very helpful and so very nice! He came in and did some evaluation of our wifi speeds, something I never would have thought to do! He set up and updated our Wifi system and made sure everything was working before he left. Definitely worth every penny as all this technology can be so frustrating!
Extremely positive experience--in the initial Zoom call, Ari took as much time as necessary to understand what we wanted and to go through possible solutions. We then scheduled the work a week out; two friendly, knowledgable technicians showed up on time and in about half a day solved all problems and improved everything we wanted improved. Would use them again in a heartbeat.

Wow! They did a wonderful job installing boosters, new router, and organizing my network. Look, I was pretty good at doing it myself, but when I returned after some renters, everything was a mess. I'm so glad I hired Bay Area Tech Heros!
