Sent a couple of young guys over who knew less about decks than I did. The salesmanship tactics were borderline unethical. They seemed to really want to sit at my dining table and iron out a verbal deal right there. What about “email me a proposal” don’t they get? Wasn’t long before I kept dropping hints that they should just leave. Also, if you walk into an Asian person’s home, at least ask if you should take off your shoes.

We just wrapped up remodeling 3 and a half bathrooms with the Be Home team, and we could not be happier. The entire process was straightforward, from the initial consultation, through design and to finish, with clear communication and expectations. We were very happy with the design (beautiful, clean, bright, and cohesive with the rest of our home) and the implementation. The team on site was friendly, prompt, and professional, and Mario was always available to help address any questions or concerns. We definitely recommend Be Home for your home design and remodel project.

At first they didn't show up for the first meeting, or communicate about it, but marked themselves as "my pro" on the app. All this felt unprofessional. They then followed up with offers to come and see the job, explanations and screenshots about the clerical error, and multiple apologies. In the mean time I'd gone with a different company, but saw the process mattered to them.

I worked with Tony to renovate my Kitchen , They were the best choice I made related remodeling my house, in the past I worked with other’s contractors for some other remodeling and I can’t even compare my experience with Be Home compared to others, Don’t think twice, they know what they doing and they I will definitely use only them for any other project I have in the future

I only had the free onsite consultation with them and because of the poor experience I did not proceed with them. The project manager that showed up for the consultation was arrogant, irrespective, and from what I can tell, neither had the knowledge or passion for this job. The thought of that person would be the point of contact for my project terrified me. The construction team may be great or the rest of the company could also be decent. I would not know as it would not be wise for me to proceed further after this really poor initial meet.

The Most Detailed Review I’ve Ever Written—And It’s 100% Warranted! This review only allowed me to select 3 things I liked most about working with Be Home Remodeling, but I would have checked all five: Value, Professionalism, Responsiveness, Punctuality, and Work Quality. They truly delivered on every front. I’ve never written a review this long or in-depth for any company before but Be Home Remodeling and Benjamin Maor absolutely deserve it. The experience I had working with Ben was beyond anything I expected in all the best ways. Before choosing a contractor, I met with six different professionals. Each had their strengths, but none came close to the level of care, insight, and professionalism that Ben brought to the table. From our very first conversation, Ben didn’t just hear what I wanted, he understood what I needed. More than that, he showed genuine empathy for my situation. This wasn’t just a remodel; this was my mother’s house. She had recently passed away, and this home was filled with emotion and meaning. Ben never treated it like just another project. Because I live in Washington and the house is in California, I knew strong communication and trustworthy project management would be critical. I wouldn’t be able to stop by or check in physically; everything would need to be handled remotely. Ben was a godsend in this regard. He kept me informed but not overwhelmed. He communicated with clarity, timeliness, and respect. He always knew when a decision required my input and when he could move forward without adding stress to my plate. Every question I had was answered with patience, and no concern was ever dismissed. As with any remodel, large or small, unexpected issues came up. But what made this experience so different was how Ben handled them. He took care of everything. I never had to chase down updates or worry that things were slipping through the cracks. He navigated every challenge with professionalism and grace, and I always felt like I was in incredibly capable hands. Ben also has a real talent for design. He sees the potential in a space and helps bring that vision to life. But more importantly, he listens. He offered suggestions and design ideas that aligned perfectly with what I told him I hoped to achieve. His guidance was never pushy, it was collaborative, thoughtful, and always rooted in my goals for the home. Working with Benjamin Maor and Be Home Remodeling was truly a blessing during a very emotional and stressful time. I could not be more grateful for the care, commitment, and craftsmanship he brought to this project. If you're looking for a contractor who combines skill, integrity, empathy, and clear communication, Ben is your person. I would recommend him a hundred times over.

New Review: The original review below was a mistake and was meant for another company. Be Home will be coming out to give me a bid later this week. It was another company that was a no show. Original Review: Never showed up after scheduling consultation so wasted my morning. Then said they called but I have no missed calls and said I was in a pool with many other potential customers and didn’t know who I was despite my sending pic of our text exchange. I am tired of contractors that don’t follow through.

They pressured me into signing a contract, told me they would finish work in 2 weeks, didn’t even show up at all but once the first week with one painter. Mario came across competent but each and everyone had a different story as to why no one was doing any work including the ‘owner’ Benjamin. Would highly NOT recommend this company with the pressure tactics, then tried to make me sign paperwork stating I could not talk to CSLB or anyone else about their lack of work ethic and integrity. Update: His response is a lie. He walked the project knowing what needed to be fixed and all the things that did need to be fixed. We didn't state we needed it completed in one week, HE gave me the timeline of two weeks. We also didn't ask him to take responsibility of someone else's mistakes - but again, different stories from everyone on his team including himself. If you email me I can show you he said he only worked for one day and not a whole day, and didn't show up for the rest of the week like Mario said he would. I also have those text messages to show as well. I still have the contracts he tried to make me sign to not contact anyone about their high pressure sales tactics and work ethic. He also asked for me to pay him 50% of the project up front. I'm glad I didn't. Which he states in his contract NOT to pay a contractor more than $1000 or 10% of the job. Zero integrity all the way around.

Benjamin is a real nice guy to work with! He’s professional and thinks from the customers perspective. He provided different plans to adapt our budget and functionality requirements. Would definitely come back if I have another project to work on in the future.
